    Senior Graphic Designer - Cape Town

    This role is for a Senior Graphic Designer, reporting directly into one of the Design Leads, to create beautiful, pixel-perfect designs, as well as produce best-of-breed web, mobile and system designs for our digital properties while being a mentor for fellow team members.
    The senior graphic designer must be hands on, responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within a fast paced, open and collaborative peer environment. Our dynamic environment is fast paced, using Agile and self-organising principles.

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    • Creative designs for promotions and campaigns
    • Brainstorm different creative theme ideas and designs to support design projects
    • Working knowledge of design processes and tools, understanding and interpreting briefs
    • Web & Email Templates: headers, buttons, backgrounds, iconography, typography
    • Developing creative content from scratch. Working within client briefs and with supplied assets
    • Oversee conceptualization of design projects; Conceptualizing new designs and user interactions that are both functional and user-friendly
    • Product improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve UI through design
    • Comfortable with doing general design work from time to time, not necessarily related to their specific team
    • Manage your own time and resources and ensure the highest level of productivity and quality is achieved
    • Manage and maintain a consistent level of engagement and commitment to the quality of work throughout the entire length of projects
    • Manage and coordinate small groups on specific projects in your area
    • Produce different style guides, presentations, and project visualization for the creatives team

    Essential Criteria:

    • 5+ years’ of experience within the design field
    • Existing portfolio demonstrating any area of graphic, website and mobile design

    • Ability to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • High proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator/XD and other design packages
    • Adobe XD/Figma Prototyping

    Operational Compliance Specialist

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    Full ownership and accountability of the assigned state(s).

    New State Preparation

    • Work together with the Corporate Compliance Team, Business Analysts, and Product Team to identify regulatory requirements within the state and the implementation of solutions required to ensure the business is compliant – this includes onboarding, acquisition, retention, reporting, and banking.
    • Work together with various operational teams to ensure compliant processes are put in place.
    • Work together with the Business Intelligence Team to ensure reporting and monitoring tools are in place.
    • Create Internal Controls documents as required by the regulations/regulator(s).

    Existing States Compliance Monitoring

    • Identify all processes, reports, and requirements which need to be monitored. Identify and implement processes and procedures to effectively measure compliance.
    • Identify operational incidents and / or breaches which require investigation and notification to the regulator.
    • Ensure all deadlines are tracked and met including, but not limited to, regulatory reports and operational commitments.
    • Stay abreast of any regulatory changes that may influence operational requirements.
    • Stay abreast of new products and tools available in the market which support compliance requirements.
    • Assist with investigations of customer complaints and disputes.

    Regulator Communications

    • Manage all operational communication with the relevant regulatory body(ies).
    • Communicate regarding potential delays or deadline extension requests.
    • Disseminate changes or updates to regulations with the relevant teams and departments.
    • Engage with the Corporate Compliance and AML Compliance Officer to ensure appropriate responses are provided to queries received from 3rd parties such as Financial Institutions, Local or Federal Police, Regulatory Authorities.

    Internal Audit    

    • Assist Internal Auditors with their function in relation to demonstrations, reporting, and provision of information as required.

    Reporting

    • Provide reporting on all compliance aspects to management, Compliance Team, and business stakeholders.
    • Provide ad hoc reporting upon request.

    Training

    • Engage with the Training Managers across operational teams to ensure all staff are appropriately familiar with new state regulations and changes to existing state regulations.

    Criteria:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, Business Management, or closely related preferred.
    • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a regulated industry (iGaming, alcohol beverage, insurance, health care).
    • Previous audit experience preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
    • Strong written and verbal skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of matters.
    • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and / or local regulations.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Ability to understand and extract information from legal documents such as legislation.
    • Ability and experience in creating and analyzing reports, graphs, and formulas.
    • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

    Software Engineering Manager

    Purpose:

    • The Software Engineering Manager will be part of an agile development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack. The Software Engineering Manager will provide technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship.

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    Reporting to the Head of Technology Operations. The duties and responsibilities of the Software Engineering Manager include:

    • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
    • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
