    RV FMCG manager South Africa

    Responsibilities

    • Secure and enhance co-operation agreements with current retail partners.
    • Source new retailers
    • Drive sales and renewals for existing Retail accounts securing pipeline, new revenue opportunities and maintain customer relationships. Leverage both core services as well as Value added Services across NIQ & GfK products and services
    • Develop a complete and interconnected understanding of customer's industry and their key business questions
    • Partner with Customer Success and other relevant teams to develop and execute Account Plans and JBPs.
    • Collect, analyze, act-on and escalate as appropriate Voice of Customer feedback.
    • Expand customer network to identify new budget holders in portfolio of Retail clients.
    • Communicate product needs and trends to the business .

    Qualifications

    • Min 5 – 7 years of related experience
    • Solid sales skills and developed sales expertise in target scope.
    • Solid understanding of data analytics industry, business model, products, services and solutions.
    • Solid understanding of market trends and its interdependencies impacting customers.
    • Experience working with or for Retail client, or Supplier to Retail in either FMCG or Tech & Durable Industry.

    Senior Research Manager - JHB

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Accountable for a team of Researchers determined either by area or product or sector or client
    • Supervises all stages of project management and monitors performance
    • Responsible for the training and development of team and peers
    • Provides advice and consultation to clients and staff
    • Handles complicated client queries or complaints
    • Ensure projects are profitable via efficient, timeous delivery of projects
    • Designs and plans research projects following client commissioning and needs

    • Good knowledge of the characteristics of the relevant markets

    Senior Consultant – Revenue Growth Management team

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To be part of an international project team that helps FMCG clients optimizing their pricing and promotion activities
    • Use Nielsen tools and methodologies to build answers to business questions based on the market data and revenue management analysis
    • To convert analytical results into a business-focused and actionable client report
    • To deliver insights and recommendations to the client during formal or informal meetings
    • Coordinate project execution between experts’ teams

     QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2 or more years of experience in a similar position/ business area.
    • Previous experience in FMCG sector, preferably trade marketing, consumer insights, key account/category management, in which price, promo and revenue management figures are familiar variables.
    • High level of business relationship skills.
    • Strong analytical mindset and excellent numerical skills.
    • Strong communication & visualization skills – interested in storytelling techniques.
    • Comfortable working in a digital-enabled environment.
    • Experience working with PowerBI would be an asset.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
    • Strong organizational & interpersonal skills;
    • University degree or equivalent experience.
