    Fleet & Safety Supervisor - SAB Kimberley Depot

    Key Roles and Responsibilities: 
    Safety Policy & Compliance 

    • Implement and uphold AB InBev Safety Policy, Standards, and Corporate Governance requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with the OHS Act of 1993, the Road Traffic Act, and other relevant legislation.
    • Conduct ongoing shop-floor coaching on the OHS Act to promote a culture of safety.
    • Ensure all new employees and contractors are inducted into the SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) programme.
    • Identify and communicate workplace hazards to all staff.
    • Maintain and update site procedures and work instructions, ensuring relevant staff training is conducted.

    Fleet Management 

    • Provide sustainable fleet and safety support to both on-site and remotely supported locations, including sales and commercial operations.
    • Conduct routine inspections of the logistics fleet to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
    • Report daily on fleet availability (trucks, trailers, forklifts, and Moffetts) across all site functions.
    • Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance plan and schedule for all vehicle categories, ensuring continuous fleet availability.
    • Oversee the COF (Certificate of Fitness) and licensing processes.
    • Obtain quotes from suppliers for fleet maintenance and repairs.
    • Submit new master data requisitions and changes to the Regional Fleet Manager for approval.
    • Understand and manage vehicle specific maintenance and service requirements for all vehicle types, including warehouse cleaning equipment.
    • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring adherence to minimum and maximum stock levels (including tyres).

    Risk Management & Auditing 

    • Safeguard stakeholder interests by proactively identifying and mitigating safety and loss risks across all AB-InBev operations.
    • Be available for emergencies and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to address business hazards beyond the site perimeter.
    • Manage internal self-audits, analyse findings, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
    • Implement and sustain DPO (Distribution Process Optimisation) and VPO (Voyager Process Optimisation) Fleet and Safety Pillars through self-assessments and zone audits.
    • Attend weekly Distribution Centre (DC) Fleet Meetings, providing insights on fleet and contractor performance in line with Terms of Reference (TOR).
    • Conduct asset verification in accordance with the Business Reference Number (BRN) process.
    • Maintain and archive records and documentation as per SAB and legal requirements, including maintenance job cards, licensing history and pre-trip inspections.

    Environmental & Legal Compliance 

    • Develop and maintain site standards to minimise losses, ensure legal compliance (OHS Act, Environmental Act, COID Act), and limit legal liability.
    • Oversee the maintenance of the environmental programme and execution of required internal and external audits.
    • Ensure that fire and explosion risks are adequately addressed through regular audits, surveys, and maintenance.

    Financial & Operational Support

    • Support the Regional Fleet Manager in managing expenditure against the budget (VLC), providing monthly latest estimates (LE) aligned to period phasing (DC).
    • Empower operators and line managers to deliver effective, modern leadership in operations.
    • Manage workshop safety using 5S principles and review maintenance SOPs to ensure safe practices are followed.

    Reporting & Systems 

    • Utilize CR360 to report non-conformances, incidents, and accidents.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant 3-year tertiary degree or diploma.
    • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in fleet management or a related functions.
    • Solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993 and the South African Road Traffic Act.
    • Familiarity with governance codes and compliance requirements.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and working knowledge of SAP

    Fleet & Safety Supervisor - SAB Prospecton Depot

    Key Responsibilities

    The key accountabilities for this role include but are not restricted to:

    • Including ABInBev Safety Policy and Standards and Corporate Governance and ensures protection of stakeholder interests through the mitigation at source of loss and safety risk, pure and speculative across the broad spectrum of the AB-InBev operations
    • Fleet for this role encompasses all fleet – All FLTs on Site, Moffets on Site and Trucks/Trailers on Site
    • Conduct shop-floor ongoing coaching on OHS Act
    • To ensure compliance with the OHS Act of 93 and the Road Traffic Act
    • Accountable to providing sustainable fleet/safety support to the sites stationed at and remotely contracted to support including the sales/ commercial operations
    • The safety professional need to be available for emergencies. Business hazards are not contained within perimeter fencing but one has to devise smart plans to work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
    • Conduct daily stringent inspections of the fleet for compliance against legal and company requirements
    • Report on daily fleet availability (Trucks, Trailers, FLT’s and MFLT’s) in all functions of the site
    • Maintain and archive records and documentation as per SAB and legal requirements including maintenance job cards, licensing history, and pre-trip inspections
    • To manage internal self-audits
    • Analyse findings and monitor implementation of corrective action
    • Implement and sustain the DPO Fleet and Safety Pillars through DPO Self Assessments and Zone DPO Audits.

    Warehouse Supervisor - Chamdor Brewery

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    Inventory Counts

    • Physically perform and lead the morning inventory count process
    • Identify the root cause of inventory count variances and put action plans in place through problem solving tools to improve the Inventory Accuracy KPI
    • Reduce supply chain overheads through the utilization of problem-solving tools
    • Create and manage warehouse management tools to ensure FEFO

    Track and trend inventory accuracy

    Brewing Process Control Technician - Chamdor Brewery

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

    • Provide specialist support to the shift based teams during operations. This will include standby and day shift support where requested, assist as a functional expert in problem solving. This must be undertaken in support of the process artisan
    • Where requested, provide guidance and advice to the shift based teams on machine operation, machine fault finding, correct responses to machine failure modes and alarm management
    • Where requested, provide coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer of machine operation to shift based teams
    • Take part, as functional expert, in regional, central office and manufacturing systems plant optimization trials
    • Dotted line support to the Automation PTE and Systems team

    PLANNED MAINTENANCE

    • Take part in maintenance planning meeting, contributing suggestions and clarifying work required
    • Carry out work during the planned maintenance window in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule issued by the planner
    • Where scheduled work can not be completed, feed back to the maintenance planner for direction. This may involve rescheduling the work or prioritising outstanding work
    • Assist fellow team members in the execution of their tasks in during planned maintenance windows
    • Partake in maintenance postmortems to feedback problems, opportunities and learnings from maintenance activities

    ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

    • Partake in C&A related maintenance schedules issued by the Maintenance Planner and as stipulated by the C&A GOP
    • Carry out routine maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance schedule
    • Where problems have been uncovered during routine maintenance, these must be resolved using the appropriate problem solving techniques. If required, additional resources may be called in to assist
    • Where problems have been uncovered, and it is required to include the work in the planned maintenance schedule, this must be communicated to the Maintenance Planner
    • Ensure that C&A governance i.t.o disaster recovery, inspections and calibration are diligently carried out

    RUNNING REPAIRS

    • On request, partake in carrying out running repairs on plant and equipment, or support the Shift Artisans in carrying out repairs
    • When carrying out repairs, assess the problem and determine a course of action
    • Where required, specialist assistance may be called in. This may include internal resources such as Instrument
    • Technicians, or external resources such as Contractors or Suppliers
    • Where repairs indicate that major work is required, such as re-wiring a motor, this must be transferred to the engineering workshop for attention
    • Verify that where running repairs have been carried out, this has addressed the problem
    • Complete the administration tasks relating to any running repairs that the Technician has carried out. This includes all SAP inputs
    • Where running repairs cannot be carried out, communicate this to the Maintenance Planner to ensure the work is planned nto the next planned window

    PROBLEM SOLVING

    • Where problems have occurred during routine activities, apply the correct problem solving approach to resolve
    • Where required, call in additional resources to assist in problem solving or escalate to the Maintenance Planner or Engineer for direction
    • Assist fellow team members to resolve problems on request
    • Take part, as functional expert, in FFA's on request

    HOUSEKEEPING AND SAFETY

    • Operate in a safe manner at all times , and identify and highlight unsafe work practices so that these may be corrected
    • Carry out work according to the work instructions and adhere to appropriate SAB policies and procedures
    • Carry out housekeeping tasks, and apply 5S principles during the execution of duties

    Minimum Requirements:

    • National Diploma/N6 in Electrical Engineering/ Industrial Electronics/Instrumentation/Electro techniques
    • Trade tested
    • Experience with Siemens PLC programming ( Siemens certifications would be an advantage)
    • Knowledge or experience of working in a production environment particularly in FMCG
