    Junior Psychometrist

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    Assessment:

    • Provide AVI wide assessment service in support of HR processes including Recruitment and Selection, Succession planning, Talent Management. Ensure expert technical knowledge and understanding on assessments and projects are provided
    • Manage the AVI mailbox and any queries regarding assessments
    • Manage the candidate feedback tracker and book candidate feedbacks within 3 months of candidate placement 

    Stats Report:

    • Provide operational reports which provide insights into the day-to-day management and efficiency of the functional area in the monthly Recruitment and Assessment Team meeting 
    • Legal & Professional Requirements:
    • Ensure adherence to effective controls and corporate governance within the operational assessment area to ensure adherence to best practice guidelines and rules, regulations, and best practices of the Health Professions Council of South Africa
    • Ensure up to date on professional continued professional development points 

    Business Relationships:

    • Partner with relevant internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery and improve assessment practices
    • Collaborate with the Recruitment team to understand job requirements and gain clarity on candidate assessment requests or system enquiries
    • Work closely with the Project management team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
    • Create a supportive and engaging candidate experience during assessment feedback 

    Administer:

    • Oversee and administer the assessment of internal and external applicants’ skills, abilities and personal characteristics for a specific position across all levels in business, as and when required 

    Report:

    • Collate the scores for certain assessments and interpret psychometric assessment data to provide input into talent decisions and insights. Provide comparative summaries where needs be 

    Feedback:

    • Provide feedback regarding assessment data on CM and lower assessments that take place throughout the business
    • Provide developmental feedback on assessment results to candidates to highlight their particular strengths as well as areas that can be focused on in order to improve performance in the role

    Assessment Billing:

    • Collate the assessment billing for all assessments done throughout the AVI Group
    • Accurately process the billing, send for review and submit to finance within the required turnaround time (22nd of every month) 

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:                                                                   

    • 2 years corporate assessment experience (excluding psychometric internship)
    • 3 years’ experience in setting up, administration, report writing and giving feedback across a broad spectrum of assessments (personality, cognitive, etc)
    • 3 years’ experience integrating various assessment results into a report 

    Qualifications:

    • Registered with the HPCSA as Psychometrist (Independent Practise)
    • Compliant in terms of CPD

    Benefits Administrator

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    Retirement Fund

    • Death claim investigations and resolutions (RAC meetings)
    • Trustee meeting attendance (on invitation)
    • Submission and tracking of new entrants and withdrawals
    • Reconciliation of existing members, new entrants and withdrawals
    • Facilitating provident fund home loan applications for eligible employees
    • Reconciliation of provident fund home loans, clearing of arrears and ensuring over deductions are refunded to employee
    • Assisting site and facilitating disability applications
    • Facilitating divorce orders with the fund
    • Assisting site with the submission of funeral claims
    • Preparation of monthly reports to trustees and management
    • Preparation and submission of monthly Nil Contributors report to funds
    • Managing of daily retirement funding queries from employees, Site HR, Payroll and various funds
    • Relationship building between Trustees, Site HR and Payroll
    • Workflow management 48 hours SLA

    Medical Aid Administration

    • Submission and tracking of new entrants, changes and withdrawal
    • Managing of daily medical aid queries from Payroll/Site HR
    • Weekly termination checks
    • Preparing monthly pre-billing reports and comparing to medical aid billing
    • Reviewing and clearing of monthly differences
    • Obtaining forms from the fund and updating the intranet
    • Preparation of monthly reports
    • Preparation, submission and collating of certificates of existence for pensioners on company medical aid
    • Contacting of pensioners with unsuccessful medical aid recalls
    • Workflow management in 48 hour SLA

    Ad hoc Projects

    • Regular updating process documentation to ensure process is streamlined
    • Ad hoc Benefits projects (PRMA, COE, Medical Aid Verification, Nomination Forms etc.)

    Stakeholder Management

    • Presentations to BU’s and site
    • Roadshows
    • Regular feedback to all parties on death claim investigations and resolutions

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:                                                                   

    • 3 - 5 years work experience in a Benefits role/department
    • Benefits Administration (Death Claim Investigation None Negotiable), Section 37C, Medical Aid & Retirement Fund Administration
    • Stakeholder Management

    Qualifications:

    • Matric/Grade 12

    Commercial Accountant

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Maintenance of Customer Trade Term Contracts
    • Manage Trade Term Agreements and accruals in SAP
    • Calculation of Quarterly and Annual Sales Growth Incentives
    • Growth Incentive Accruals and monthly Recons
    • Verify Consultant Commissions received from Beauty Retailers
    • Raise accruals for Consultant Commissions
    • Upload Trade Spend Grids into SAP
    • Liase with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to confirm monthly trade spend
    • Raise Fixed Spend Accruals monthly
    • Process accrual adjustment journals
    • Reconcile balance sheet accounts relating to instore discount (by customer) on a monthly basis. This includes sallies, tallies, markdowns, etc.
    • Maintain Monthly Master pricelist and share with internal stakeholders
    • Monitor Daily price discrepancies and follow up with relevant KAMs
    • Monitor Weekly AVI Promo summary vs mandates and follow up on discrepancies
    • Participate in testing and Cutover of the SOS Trade Spend Project
    • Reporting on Trade Spend estimates vs actuals
    • Liaise with Internal and External auditors as required
    • Support the Commercial Manager with the half year and year end reporting close out process
    • Assist the Commercial Manager with all commercial projects and financial analysis as required

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Experience within an FMCG environment will be advantageous
