    Summary Of Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

    • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
    • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed
    • Handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas
    • Actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetings
    • Ensure Room Attendants are informed daily about priorities in their section
    • Follow departmental policies and procedures
    • Report necessary maintenance items
    • Follow all safety and sanitation policies
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Proficient in English (verbal & written) essential
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hotel Housekeeping environment
    • Proven training skills
    • Experience with Hotel Property Management System, Micros-Fidelio desirable
    • Proactive with a meticulous eye for detail
    • Strong organizational, supervisory and communication skills
    • Able to convey information and ideas clearly
    • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
    • Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations

    Reporting to the Chief Engineer, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

    • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
    • In charge of building maintenance operation, room setups, fire and safety programs, and equipment inventory control
    • Participate in objective setting, development and review of the Engineering performance
    • Initiates, implements, and manages the maintenance best practices
    • with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance
    • Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
    • Maintains and repairs maintenance equipment
    • Establishes and maintains MC for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of equipment
    • Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for operations and solving maintenance-related problems
    • Supervises maintenance personnel & assists with hiring of personnel
    • Ensures that technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance tasks can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
    • Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians
    • Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs
    • Tracks, analyzes and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, schedule compliance, etc.
    • Maintains safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
    • Coordinates activities with other Operations Departments
    • Communicates directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas
    • Communicates & ensure effective participation by the maintenance technicians in the implementation of QA policies and procedures
