    Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner

    Job Description

    The Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner is responsible for the provision of Occupational and Primary Health Care Clinic Services.

    Key Outcomes 

    Manage Stock and Supplies 

    • Ensure adequate stock levels are kept and that wastage is limited

    • Ensure legal compliance of on-site clinic

    Manage Periodic Assessments 

    • Conducting medical surveillance examinations

    • Conduct health risk assessments 

    Manage Reporting and Feedback 

    • Interpret and record medical surveillance findings and refer medical surveillance findings to Occupational Health Medical Practitioner

    • Document management

    Special Requirements 

    Will be based at a client in Gauteng 

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 2 years in an Occupational Health environment

    • Primary Health Care experience

    • Emergency Care/ Emergency drugs

    • Injury on duty Management

    • Health care, IOD and medical emergencies

    Preferred

    • Professional Nurse with Certificate in Dispensing, Audiometry and Spirometry

    Qualifications and Accreditation with a Professional Body

    • Qualification in Occupational Health

    • Registered with SANC, SASOHN and DoH

    Technical Skills or Knowledge 

    • Certificate in dispensing, audiometry and spirometry

    • Health risk assessment knowledge

    • Computer Literacy

    Regional Clinics Manager

    Job Description

    The Regional Clinics Manager is responsible for supporting the Head of Clinics with building client relationships, ensure that the on-site clinic are compliant to legislation and management of the clinic staff. The person will responsible for planning and securing the on-going stability of clients by building and managing the financial, operational and administrative system infrastructure of Occupational Health.

    KEY OUTCOMES (not limited to) Level 4 and 5 process elements

    Managing regional clinic stock and supplies

    • Monitor and ensure adequate stock levels
    • Follow procurement processes

    Managing resources

    • Ensure clinics are staff correctly
    • Manage workforce to ensure Service Level Agreements are met

    Managing medical assessments

    • Compile medical plans with Employers
    • Schedule clients at clinics

    Reporting

    • Report on stock levels and usage
    • Report on medical assessment engagements

    Qualifications

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    Willing to Travel

    PERSON DETAILS: WORK EXPERIENCE

    REQUIRED

    • 3 -5 years Occupational Health management experience, Operations manager,
    • Supervisory or management experience is essential
    • Strong business operations knowledge is essential
    • Financial and budgeting experience

    Occupational Health Unit Manager

    EDUCATION: QUALIFICATIONS: ACCREDITATIONS WITH PROFESSIONAL BODY

    REQUIRED

    • A relevant Nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing/ B Cur Degree) or equivalent NQF 7 qualification
    • BTech Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing
    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Occupational
