    Solutions Engineer

    The Team and Role:

    As Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for the growth of our Video Collaboration activity, you will report to the Head of B2B Sales AMECA.

    You will be part of a talented and passionate sales team, working jointly with customers, partners and sales, by identifying their needs, engineering adaptations of products, package solutions/bundles and services.  You will be the technical point person ensuring the highest level of key account support.

    • Be the go-to technical expert on the sales team: Explain, demonstrate, and prove in-depth what Logitech’s Video Collaboration products and partner services can do and how to enable and manage them in the customer’s environment
    • Clear all technical, competitive, and adoption blockers to Logitech VC sales and usage
    • Lead all VCaaS/cloud services interoperability and compatibility discussions.  Most specifically those related to Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google
    • Be the connection and orchestration point for other technical resources: Provide feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on current and future product requirements. Communicate and escalate technical, architectural and competitive blockers and insight to the appropriate channels
    • Develop partner engagements for driving the sale, deployment, and adoption of VC solutions
    • Stay sharp and share your knowledge: Continuously nurture and expand your technical, sales, and competitive readiness. Participate in channel and end user events and in the broader industry through trade events, blogs, whitepapers, and articles

    Key Qualifications:

    For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

    • Excellent Communicator. Strong presentation, product demo, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Collaborative. Able to work cohesively with members of the Logitech sales, marketing, and adjacent departments
    • Passion for technology. Contagious enthusiasm for and a desire to continuously learn new technology
    • Executive Presence. Proven experience engaging with senior-level executives
    • Strong Communications solution selling experience
    • Deep Communications products & services knowledge in Microsoft, Zoom or Google UC stack
    • Communications architect. Broad knowledge of and ability to explain key end-user scenarios and technical architecture in the Communications space
    • Networking. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls and protocols (SRTP/RTCP, H.323, H.263/H.264, SIP) required
    • Cloud Trust. Demonstrated knowledge of identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance topics with regards to cloud and hybrid communications solutions preferred
    • Troubleshooting/debugging.  Knowledge of and ability to debug USB, Windows and Mac OS issues required
    • Fluency in English, written and spoken
    • Proven experience in a similar role

    Online Senior Key Account Manager

    In this role you will:

    • Be accountable for the performance of Key Accounts in online channel with specific focus on Online Retailers namely; Amazon, Takealot, Evetech across the Gaming and Personal Workspace categories, also achieving assigned targets for strategic objectives
    • Establish and develop productive, professional relationships with key personnel (on all levels) in assigned customer accounts
    • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, management resources; providing leadership & inspiration, fostering a culture of customer-centricity, accountability, collaboration and achieving big bold goals
    • Develop the business by identifying and accelerating all opportunities within key channels & customer portfolios
    • Work closely with the category marketing managers to ensure that appropriate business plans for your account are agreed and implemented and that appropriate sales campaigns/initiatives and marketing activities are prepared and implemented
    • Successfully introduce and implement new product categories and key initiatives, coordinate country campaigns with your selected accounts and execute with excellence
    • Lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
    • Set up a quarterly key metrics activity and execution plan
    • Monitor and manage execution of the activities by measuring and reporting on activities and campaign results
    • Set up an efficient forecast process to drive predictable revenue growth
    • Define, manage and control budget per Partner/Account
    • Control the relevant ROI (return on investment) and success parameters
    • Anticipate market changes to drive new, relevant solutions to customers
    • Be a Brand Ambassador

    Key Qualifications:

    For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

    • Extensive account management experience with a track record in consumer electronics, IT or FMCG
    • Possess a deep understanding of retail & online sales processes
    • Must have managed the Takealot online business and have a deep understanding of online metrics and how to increase revenue and online presence
    • Critical the successful candidate will also have experience in Market Place Management and must be able to illustrate deep understanding of this segment of online
    • Fluent English, both written and verbal
    • Analytical set of mind, structured, highly driven and solution oriented person
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Ability to build strategic relationships
    • Strong financial acumen
    • Knowledge across a range of marketing tools
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Ability to drive and coordinate projects
    • Role must be based in Cape Town
