The Role
Be primarily responsible for managing all aspects of project electrical works which include the Electrical Balance of Plant (eBoP) design review, supply and construction scope. Oversight of the electric elements of the Civil Balance of Plant (cBoP)
Key responsibilities include
Engineering Design and Quality
- Be fully aware of project requirements associated with the electrical aspects of eBoP Design Scope of Works.
- Ensure the electrical and SCADA design is progressed in a timely manner to meet interface requirements.
- Manage the electrical and SCADA design interfaces.
- Work with the Engineering Manager and Site Team on interfaces and overall design management.
- Ensure the design progresses to meet interface requirements and contract compliance.
- Manage design interfaces with relevant parties.
- Regular site inspections and walkdowns to verify eBoP performance, contract adherence, and quality.
- Close liaison with site team to manage issues in accordance with contract requirements, including commissioning and grid compliance testing.
- Manage handover of electrical assets to Seriti Green Asset Management team, providing necessary quality and operation documents.
Construction
- Responsible for ensuring that all electrical works are of the required quality standards, and that they meet the specifications and design requirements.
- Regular site inspections and walkdowns to verify the electrical contractor’s performance, contract adherence, quality etc
- Conducting inspections, witnessing of material and component tests, and overseeing any necessary remediation work.
- Close liaison with site team to ensure issues are being managed in accordance with the various contract requirements.
- Regular/periodic reporting of electrical construction status
- Support of the handover of the electrical assets to Seriti Green Asset Management team
Contract Management:
- Ensure all project contract requirements are implemented.
- Produce procedures for contract requirements implementation as required.
- Follow company policies associated with contracts.
- Initiate contractual claims as required.
- Prepare contract variations.
- Lead the eBoP payment and variation certification process and manage contractual disputes if they arise.
- Monitor and review financial data related to contract performance, forecasts, labor and variation costs, expected Gross Margin, and profits. Report discrepancies as they arise.
- Assist with reporting and processing monthly cost recording and processing.
- Monitor, review, and ensure all Business Units deliver required reports.
- Provide Project Reports according to project and company requirements.
- Assist with estimating and provide guidance on costings and commercial matters, including commercial schedules for tender submissions on other projects.
Education & Experience
- Tertiary qualification(s) in Electrical Engineering
- Sound technical and commercial understanding of the Electrical and/or the Construction Industry
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial/utility electrical supply and installation environment
- Good understanding of the appropriate South African and International Standards and Regulations
- Desirable to have wind farm project delivery experience
- Demonstrated high level of commercial acumen, with a proven ability to navigate complex deal structures.

The Role
The EO will report to the Site Manager and is responsible for implementation of the Environmental Management Programmes (EMPrs), environmental monitoring and reporting, providing environmental feedback and input to the organisation, liaising with contractors and the landowners as well as a range of environmental coordination responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Environmental Compliance and Permits:
- Be fully conversant with the conditions of all environmental permits issued for the project (Environmental Authorisations, General Authorisation, biodiversity permit, etc.).
- Maintain the permits register and ensure that the necessary legal permits and / or licenses are in place and up to date.
Environmental Management Programme Implementation:
- Be fully conversant with the EMPrs.
- Be familiar with the recommendations and mitigation measures of the EMPrs and implement these
- Ensure that all stipulations within the EMPrs are communicated and adhered to by the Employees, Contractor(s).
Site Environmental Responsibilities
- Demarcate the construction area, clearly marking and communicating restricted, sensitive and no-go areas
- Confine the development site to the demarcated area.
- Conduct environmental audits with regards to the EMPrs and authorisations compliance (on the contractor’s EO (cEO)).
- Assist the contractors in addressing environmental challenges on site.
Assist in incident management:
- Reporting environmental incidents to the Site Manager, ensuring that corrective action is taken, and lessons learnt shared.
- Assist the contractor in investigating environmental incidents and compile investigation reports
- Follow-up on pre-warnings, defects, non-conformance reports.
- Measure and communicate environmental performance to the Contractor.
Training and Awareness:
- Conduct environmental awareness training on site together with Environmental Control Officer (ECO) and cEO.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Communicating with landowners, as and when required;
- Acting as Developer’s Environmental Representative on site and working together with the ECO and contractor.
Education & Experience
- Tertiary qualification(s) in Environmental science / management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a large infrastructure and construction environment as an EO or ECO

The Role
Be primarily responsible for managing all aspects of project civil works which include the Civil Balance of Plant (cBoP) design review, supply and construction scope, Offsite upgrades for the transport route from Richards Bay to site, Oversight of the civil elements of the Electrical Balance of Plant (eBoP)

- Ensure that the civil and structural design is completed on time so that the various interface requirements are met.
- Identify key inspection/witness points and conduct key work inspections.

The Role
The purpose of this role is to be primarily responsible for managing all Engineering aspects for Seriti Green and its portfolio of projects under development, construction and operation.
Key responsibilities include
Design Management
- Ensure the Civil, Electrical and SCADA designs of projects are progressed in a timely manner such that the various interface requirements are met
- Review the design for compliance with the Principals Requirements in collaboration with the Owners Engineer.
- Management of the engineering design interfaces
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Develop technical, quality and governance standards and procedures for the Organisation.
- Build and maintain systems to ensure continuous improvement, quality assurance, reliability, redundancy, efficiency and safety in design.
- Review proposed Project Quality Procedures to ensure compliance with Internal Quality Systems, Industry Standards and Regulations.

Contract Management
