Duties and Responsibilities;
FINANCIAL:
- FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE - To set comprehensive goals for financial performance, growth and profitability and support in providing oversight to Franchisees and/or Restaurants that enables the achievement of favourable financial results.
- Set annual Budgets and forecasts.
- Business case development - Investment with ROI projections
- Set Development project budget and ensure adherence.
- Total income (Procurement COI, licence fees and commissions)
- Optimised Operational Expenditure - Internal
- Food Cost
- Menu Engineering
- Net Profit and profit growth
- Increase in operating margin.
- Debtors control
- Franchisee - Return on investment (Turnover sales, cost control and bottom-line profitability)
CUSTOMER;
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION and MARKETING - Pro-actively drive the Customer value proposition and Brand promise and equity - Provide and Set a clear vision of how to be a responsible corporate citizen and how we respond to economic, social and environmental activities.

Minimum Requirements;
- Relevant tertiary education in IT field, preferably infrastructure and or security related.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as an IT infrastructure specialist/engineer.
- At least 5 years relevant IT Management experience.
- Microsoft certifications (SCCM/Azure/Windows Server/etc.) - advantageous.
- Cybersecurity certifications.
- ITIL certification will be advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities;
- Develop & deliver IT infrastructure strategy, road maps and operating plans.
- Ensure operational support is delivered as per the agreed standards and within the agreed SLA's.
- Define IT budget and ensure spend is in line with financial controls and principles.
- Architect, design and build core infrastructure components.
- Ensure legal & regulatory compliance is met and good IT governance is in place to mitigate and manage risks.
- Ensure organizational Cyber Security best practices are enforced and reviewed continuously and or adapted with the rapid changing landscape.
- Migrate critical workloads to cloud based platforms, SaaS and PaaS preferably but IaaS for legacy systems.
- Manage public cloud hosted infrastructure SLA.
- Set principles, standards and procedures for how the infrastructure is designed, built and maintained.
- Manage Software Asset Management processes for infrastructure related software licencing.
- Provide input into the BCP plan. Design and deliver the IT DR plan in response the BCP.
- Maintain strategic relationships with key vendors.
- Drive learning and development withing the infrastructure space

- Experience with Dell SAN technologies.
- Firmware microcode management on all Dell/Aruba kit.
- Administer Synology NAS deployment across all 5 corporate offices (Replication/Firmware)
- Administration of Meraki SD WAN (Next Gen Firewall)
- Knowledge of Site to Site VPN as well as Point to Site VPN.
- Must have a deep passion for technology and stay abreast of the latest trends in the markets
- Good understanding of End User Computing infrastructure end to end.
- Email Security using MS Defender stack
- Endpoint Security using MS Defender stack
- Email compliance, DMARC/DKIM understanding is key. Work with our partner to ensure compliance in this regard for all our mail domains.
- Able to facilitate and drive discussions in Spur Corporations interest when engaging third party vendors providing outsourced services.
- Backup and replication technologies – manage/administer and execute quarterly restore testing in line with business BCP and IT DR Plan.
- Provide input in building out IT DR Plan.
- Ensure all key infrastructure and cloud workloads are well documented and maintained.
- Intune endpoint administration including updates management and package deployments in Hybrid Azure AD scenario.
- Tenable vulnerability scanner exposure – Administer and interpret results and remediate where required.
- Work with security vendors to understand and interpret penetration testing outcomes and remediation actions required.
- Able to create technical documentation for reference of solutions and or key changes introduced into the environment.
