    Account Executive

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide a proactive business banking sales and service management function that will retain and grow a portfolio of business clients by identifying and implementing value adding and specialised business banking financial products solutions from a range of standard and/or customized offerings.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • Banking experience of at least 5 years, of which 3 years should have been spent in the Business Banking environment.

    • Experience of managing a complex portfolio of business customers with a service and financial analysis focus.

    • Holding responsibility for client relationship management of high value clients with varied and complex needs

    • Significant experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications 

    • Cost control and sales management 

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or Finance

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Finance

    Knowledge

    Minimum:

    • Principles and practices of business economics and the current business economic environment.

    • Credit principles and practices, including an understanding of credit application, securities

    • Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) and the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA). 

    • Able to extract, analyse and apply CRM insights to influence the client management approach and strategy 

    • General understanding of how Business Banking operates, as well as understanding the business risks, industry risks and financial requirements pertaining to the business market

    Fulfillment Officer

    Purpose Statement

    To ensure full compliance with all Credit Sanction requirements before the availment of any approved Credit facilities by:

    • Checking the accurate completion and correct signing of all security documentation which has been prepared.

    • Creating instructions for all facility availment (Mortgage Bonds, Instalment Finance, Loans, Credit cards, Overdrafts and Temporary Overdrafts, Issuing or payment of Guarantees)

    • Receipt, tracking and handover to the Vault Custodian of all original security documentation from Business stakeholders including Bond documents from Attorneys.

    • Obtaining the appropriate authorisation for the deferment of required security and the accurate recording and tracking of such deferred items.

    • Checking and updating of debit order dates and service fees recovery after payout of loans.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 2-5 years in a banking environment.

    • 2-3 years experience within securities Fulfillment/Compliance

    Head: Credit Advocacy

    Purpose Statement

    • Accountable for the marketing and preservation of Capitec Bank’s public perception and reputation internally and externally in respect of credit; including credit industry and political forums, the media and legal representation. 
      Responsible for articulating Capitec Bank’s credit approach to the non-executive director forums and internal and external stakeholders.

    Experience

    Team Leader: Account Maintenance

    Purpose Statement

    Product Head: PowerCard

    Purpose Statement

    • To have ownership and accountability for a Product*, translating strategic direction (the what) into a ‘best in world’ product through the leadership of a dedicated team, with the single focus of the product and through the entire product life cycle, planning and management of delivery, (the how.) 

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 10+ yrs experience in business management at a senior level in an innovative high performing environment, ideally banking of Fin Tech. 

    • 5+ years’ experience managing products.

    • Business and product vision; has had ownership responsibility for a Product previously.

    • Product management where there are multiple initiatives with competing priorities and so experience in influencing multiple diverse stakeholders, both business and technology.

    • Working at strategic, tactical and technical levels.

    • Career experience to include some time in one or more technical roles.

    • Communicating with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders across multiple business units. 

    • Authoring of documents relating to product life cycle including business plans, product roadmap, business cases and requirements and functional specifications.
