    Sales Representative

    The Diversey FSR/QSR Sales KAM is responsible for managing and servicing of KFC and other related QSR/FSR customers within an allocated geographical area. Responsible for new store installations & training. Servicing and training of stores, as per route list. Assisting stores with chemical order process, stock management & in-store usage, to ensure that stores align with allocated monthly budget / spend. New Business, and upselling a requirement.

    To assist other divisions (Lodging / Indirect / Retail), with servicing and installation of dosing equipment at customer premises, as and when required by the business.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Customer managementBe actively involved in the roll out procedure of new stores Ensure signoff on training and installation done at new / existing stores Ensure thattraining is conducted at stores on a regular basis, as required by the business. Maintaining of dosing equipment, wall charts & signage communication.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to generate credible and trustworthy relationships; 
    • Strong verbal and written English communication skills- able to address Store Managers, Area & Regional Coaches
    • Frequent Customer visits & call cycles to stores, as stipulated by the business.
    • Establishing and maintain relationships with Store Managers, Area & Regional Coaches
    • Ensuring adequate stock control.
    • Identify over- and under usage of products supplied into stores
    • Identifying and addressing customer needs
    • Attend to trouble calls, i.e repair of dosing equipment on site.
    • Current Driver’s license, with minimum 3 – 5 years driving experience
    • Minimum matric or equivalent qualification;
    • Presentable, with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
    • Technical knowledge of chemical dispensing systems; 
    • Understanding of hygiene and cleaning practices, equipment and products
    • Willing to travel
    • New sales and upselling an advantage
    • Work outside normal business hours, as and when required by the business.
    • Must have own vehicle – non negotiable!
    • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
    • Strong implementation and execution skills;
    • Good organizational and planning skills;
    • Ability to be relatable, personable, and productive within a team environment;
    • Reasoning and Cognitive Ability: The person assigned to this role must be able to think independently. Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND TASKS

    • Manage existing business and provide the necessary support to customers
    • Provide training based on the science of cleaning and application
    • Effective management and support of direct reports
    • Focus on account acquisition and account management including ongoing service, support, and sales development to respective accounts.  Liaise with Sector Managers on a regularly to provide support and ensure actions are closed.
    • Perform white spot prospecting to include water treatment, enhanced sustainability and operational efficiencies (water, energy, and chemical usage), global innovations and identification of other opportunities.
    • Monitoring and reporting of all accounts utilizing the corresponding tools, such as Salesforce. Monitoring and reporting should include win/loss analysis, market intelligence, and other key learning.
    • Work intensely and directly on application expertise and execution delivery, including customer training and merchandising to reinforce value proposition and brand equity.
    • Continuously focus on sales growth execution and sales target (quota) achievement through new account research and acquisition planning, leveraging sector expertise, and local intelligence.
    • Liaise with TCS to ensure appropriate service support for respective accounts
    • Implementation and use of Commercial Excellence tools

    MINIMUM TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:   

    • Matric
    • Demonstrated success in direct consultative sales role with increasing levels of responsibility. Experience in field sales, customer marketing, and customer training and technical, in addition to knowledge of working with key or strategic accounts.
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Must be willing to travel
    • Exposure to Food Service, Retail industry and Hospitality
    • Understanding of hygiene and cleaning practices, equipment and products
