    Software Developer

    Autowork Online is a comprehensive web-based application that simplifies and manages every aspect of running a busy workshop or garage. It automates and organises essential everyday tasks, from generating quotes and invoices to maintaining service records and managing the diary.     Main Duties And Responsibilities

    • Deal with multiple concurrent projects
    • Define development objectives and initiate action toward meeting them.
    • Ensure that all work is implemented to specification, on schedule, with good quality and within the effort estimated.
    • Ensure KCS programming standards, best practice and industry guidelines are adhered to
    • This role will involve development of applications, and delivering fixes for customers
    • Carry out programming tasks from specifications against specific project timescales
    • Conduct unit testing on own code
    • Submit code for peer review and make modifications in line with feedback received
    • Participate in peer review of code and specification, making suggestions to increase quality
    • Schedule own time to deliver against assigned priorities in line with agreed project timescales
    • Provide clear updates on progress against assigned tasks
    • Escalate problems and exceptions that need to be addressed in a timely manner, with suggested solutions and workarounds

    ERP Implementation Consultant

    Position Overview

    • Kerridge Commercial Systems is a market leader in the development and provision of trading and financial software environments for specialist Distribution, Wholesale, Merchant and Retail industry sectors, addressing single- or multi-branch operations, as well as catering for organisations with 'point-of-sale' showrooms and warehouse.
    • Working as an ERP Systems Consultant within the Implementation Department of Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), you will enable customers to use K8 Trader functionality to successfully run (trade) their day-to-day business.
    • The Consultant’s role is an independent, desk based role, where you will be required to follow our corporate Consultant Charter to deliver consultancy services to our customers. Taking direction from the Project co-ordinator, your diary will be managed remotely in-line with the project plan, agreed with the customer.
    • You will assist in the system configuration, implementation, and go-live of K8 Trader. Your main role activities will be undertaken desk based; delivering consultancy services, focusing on ERP implementations. You will liaise with other departments and customers during the implementation, including Sales, R&D, and Support.
    • The role may involve occasional travel to customer sites or other KCS offices.

    • To take a lead installing the K8 Trader software, responsible for the configuration of the K8 Trader system. To advise customers on the use of software for their particular business.
    • To provide associated business module training. Providing consultancy on business best practice.
    • To resolve, or assist in the resolution, of customer system queries arising from the implementation.
    • To liaise with the customers to define, or help define, specifications for modifications to the software related to the implementation of a system.

    Essential

    • Proven experience working as an implementer for a software house or senior experience gained in the distribution sector such as a Builders Merchant, Plumbers Merchant, Electrical Wholesaler or other distribution or ERP businesses.
    • Excellent consultancy and communication skills to deliver high quality end user training.
    • Demonstrable configuration and implementation experience relating to ERP including GO LIVE’S and working knowledge of Supply Chain processes within the UK. End to End delivery experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and producing high quality consultancy documents i.e. Visit Forms, Visit Notes and business cases including business discovery and producing system specifications.
    • Excellent customer service and customer facing skills to work alongside customers on and off site.

    Desirable

    • Sound working knowledge of trading ERP business processes and procedures, including day to day transactions, month end and yearend activities.
    • Requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of at least one area of expertise such as trading systems.

    Product Manager

    At KCS the primary role of the Product Manager is to take ownership of the product strategy and to manage the roadmap of any new features for the product. They work with customers, business stakeholders and R&D leaders to ensure there are clear strategic and value driven business cases for any development projects.

    Main Duties And Responsibilities

    • Be the go to product contact for the business and lead any ideation and business case workshops with customers and stakeholders to ensure critical information is captured to drive commercial success
    • Elicit high level customer and stakeholders problem and value statements and work with architects and technical leads to help define possible on strategy technical solution options and associated costs
    • Manage, refine, prioritise and communicate the product roadmap determined by a business case lead approach to ensure it is in line with overall product strategy and sustainable business growth
