We require a Murex Risk developer to help implement the changes and projects in Collateral module as required by Global Markets' Risk team . Key responsibilities include engaging with business, conducting analysis, developing requirements, writing technical and functional design documents, building and testing the solutions in Murex. The resource must be able to assist and advise the stakeholders on best practices in the implementation of the Risk projects and changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform business analysis, enhancements and changes to the Global credit Risk solutions, which include implementation
• Participate actively in discussions with business, understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives
• Challenge the status quo by pro-actively reviewing current architecture and propose solutions that enhance business experience
• Define the systems and data requirements as well as validate the system design and processes from a functional and technical perspective
• Assist in ensuring a high level delivery and user experience
• Develop and refine the various business/functional/testing requirements in support of the project and systems involved, working alongside the vendor where required
• Ensure technical and functional hand over of the project and changes to the assigned support team(s).

Skills

Must have

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in the risk management space of Global/Capital Markets
•  Experience in implementation and handling of at least two of the following Murex risk modules: MLC, Collateral Management, PFE
•  Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets asset classes, products and processes, especially from risk perspective
•  Knowledge in the areas of FX and IR risk management of the bank will be considered as an advantage (FX NOP, risk transfer and reconciliation)
•  Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the different risk-related regulations (e.g. Initial Margin, SA-CCR, FTRB, etc.) QUALIFICATIONS
•  The candidate should possess either a postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems / Engineering / Business Administration.
•  The candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience in a Bank or I.T. Company for a minimum of 5 years.
•  Strong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills
•  Strong understanding of the financial markets, trading, risk management and banking solutions
•  Ability to lead the transformation of the landscape to state of the art market practices
•  Strong knowledge of the Global Markets products and practices, from a front office and risk management perspective: pricing, limit checks, booking, risk reports, etc.
•  Candidate must be technically astute and have had relevant exposure and experience with bank systems and processes
•  Strong proven track record of liaising with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, testing processes and other relevant information.
•  Candidate must display strong verbal and written communication skills.

The Murex FO Business Analyst will be required to be part of GM Technology team responsible to provide IT services to Global Markets team. The squad is responsible for support, change request and projects pertaining to Global Markets in their money markets instance. Key responsibilities of the role include engaging with business, conducting analysis, developing requirements, reviewing technical and functional design, building and testing solution, and ensuring proper closure of the different initiatives by taking ownership/accountability end to end.

Responsibilities

• Analysis & Documentation of user requirements and transpose into Functional Specifications
• Act as key liaison with Global Markets teams (business and their supporting functions), IT teams as well as with the vendors
• Participate actively in discussions with business, understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives
• Define the systems and data requirements and validate the systems design and processes from functional and technical aspects
• Develop and refine the various business/functional/testing requirements in support of the project and systems involved, working alongside the vendor if needed
• Configuration of the solution as per requirements
• Act as the subject matter expert for Murex suite of tools used within Front Office and ensuring that all functionality of the product are installed and leveraged to its best capability within the group
• Creation of test plan, test cases, execution of system testing
• Contribute to the User Training activities, through one-to-one discussion, preparation of user training guides & presentations
• Follow up with vendor support as and when necessary to resolve bugs/issues
• Ensure technical and functional hand over of the project and changes to the relevant teams
• Assist in developing business and operational processes and to participate in developing system training artefacts when required

Skills
Must have

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Murex Front office Business Analyst.
• Experience in implementation and supporting Murex v3.1 with regards to front office capabilities
• Additional knowledge on MxML
• Datamart experience is a must
• Money markets experience is a must
• Experience in leading and delivering projects
• Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes, front to back.
• Strong exposure to FO Modules of Murex - E-Tradepad, Simulation, Viewers, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, Risk Matrices
• Deep understanding on Trade Pricing, Valuation Models, Risk Management, Sensitivities/Greeks etc.
• Experience on implementation of both linear and non-linear products in Murex
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills accompanied with excellent communication
• Functional Knowledge should encompass most or all of the following asset classes : Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Commodities, Structured Derivatives
• The candidate should possess either a postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems / Engineering / Business Administration.
• The candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience in a Bank or I.T. Company for a minimum of 5-7 years.
• Strong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Strong understanding of the financial markets, trading and banking solutions
• Strong knowledge of the Global Markets products and practices, front-to-end: pricing, limit checks, booking, risk management, accounting generation, settlements and confirmation generation
