    Head of Emerging Technology

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 10 years technology experience - Required
    • 4 years management (leading a technology team) Required
    • Bachelor of Science - Required
    • Certification in Computer Science - Required
    • Application Development background - Required
    • Experience with GCP - Required
    • Advantageous - Experience with Azure and AWS
    • Advantageous - Application Security certification and experience
    • Advantageous - Understanding and experience with the following technologies:

    Mentorship

    • As a senior member, the Emerging Tech Senior Engineer must provide mentorship to junior Emerging Tech team members and the wider OneTech teams.
    • Must be a custodian of the PwC values and ensures a positive, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
    • Share knowledge and coach younger staff members.
       

    Business Relationship

    • Implement solutions to Lines of Service through in alignment with the Digital Transformation strategy, business requirements and to support their digital needs through emerging innovative technology.
    • Create a collaborative partnership with all relevant stakeholders.
    • Create, maintain and harness internal OneTechnology relationships to implement business enabled solutions in an effective manner.
       

    Strategy Execution

    • Ensure a strong and critical partnership with Digital Transformation
    • Provide subject matter expert ability and presence in the emerging tech cross Lines of Service CoE’s
    • Implement cost effective emerging technology solutions inline with business demand
       

    Training

    • Ensure industry relevant qualifications are attained.
    • Ensure soft skill training participation to drive improved abilities
    • Educate OneTechnology and cross Lines of Service staff on emerging technology and the business value.
    • Educate direct team members to enable their growth.
       

    Project Delivery

    • Ensure projects are delivered in an efficient time to market.
    • Ensure emerging technology solutions (IoT, AI\ML and Chatbots) are delivered efficiently and effectively through partnership with Digital Transformation.
    • Implement solutions that caters for business demand.
       

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 6 years technology experience - Required
    • Application Development experience - Required
    • Azure Cloud Certification - Required
    • Robotic Process Automation Certification (Preferably UiPath) - Required
    • Experience with GCP - Required
