bout the Position
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen in the Specialised and Alternate Dispute Resolution Unit of the South African Revenue Service. The team deals primarily with tax disputes specifically appeals, Tax Board and Litigation matters in the Western Cape Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general administrative duties, which include inter alia tracking, assigning and allocation of new appeals, Litigation and Tax board matters. Compile, update, and maintain relevant manual and portal registers on appeals, Litigation and Tax Board matters, and committees on a regular basis and per management requests. Co-ordinate and prepare cases for presentation to the Regional Appeals Committee. Maintain the rotation rooster of other committees to be attended by the professional legal team. Responsible for financial and SAP transactions of the team i.e travel requests and acquittals for management and team, purchases and petty cash requests etc. Responsible for coordinating the signing of appeals settlement agreements between SARS and taxpayers and maintaining the settlement agreement register. Liaising with taxpayers, consultants and other SARS officials on complaint cases and maintain the relevant complaints register. About the Position
SARS is looking for a motivated, passionate person who can work with multiple cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to enable strategic sourcing and procure to pay teams in support of the Manager – Value delivery and Procurement intelligence. S/he will contribute towards the higher purpose and service orientation of SARS by ensuring that their responsibilities are carried out timeously in support of the procurement division to enable that they meet the requirements of Section 217 of the Constitution. About the Position

The applicant will be responsible for the formulation of the Specialised Investigation tactical strategy and associated implementation plans related to multiple practice areas, managing the business area nationally ensuring practice integration, and operational alignment with SARS’ strategic objectives working with and through stakeholders such as SAPS, DPCI, NPA, FIC in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

About the Position
- SARS is looking for a highly skilled, experienced, results driven Senior Specialist with strong data technical skills who is highly competent in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) development and planning. S/he is inspiring with ability to work with great teams and contribute towards our higher purpose and service orientation.
