    B-BBEE Coordinator

    Is this you?

    • You’re driven and tenacious and have great report writing skills. You’re technically minded and have a keen eye for detail. You are looking for a challenge and have excellent communication and conflict management skills.

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • You’ll be responsible for supporting B-BBEE Transformation and Development through developing and implementing the B-BBEE action plans (Employment Equity and Work Skills). You will also assist with the execution of all B-BBEE transformation interventions and community relationship management.

If you have all of the above and above average Excel skills and great report writing skills- this is the role for you.

    Hybrid Technical Sales Engineer

    Is this you?

    • You are an engineer, technical, but also someone that enjoys networking and growing a project pipeline yourself. You are well experienced and knowledgeable in the solar, wind hybrid project renewable energy space and no stranger to work in Africa. You enjoy travelling, networking, and applying your strong technical abilities.

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • This role is responsible for the engineering and development (technical) of large-scale hybrid projects, the pipeline hereof. Your focus will be on projects in Africa targeting mining sites and other off-grid energy users. The secondary function for this position will be collaborating and supporting international projects alongside other company subsidiaries as is required. The project targets will be between 5MWp and 100MWp which includes batteries.

    Where you’ll be doing it

    • You will join a world known renewable energy leader with a number of technologies within their portfolio; wind, solar and hybrid projects. Cape Town will be your home with required business related travel.

    What you’ll need

    • You are experienced in the solar/wind industry with an electrical or power systems engineering degree. Similar could also be considered depending on the experience on offer. No less than 5 years is required in solar, wind or hybrid engineering design and/or development. You will need a very strong understanding of solar and/or wind hybrid power systems. You have skills in design programs/systems such as CAD, Homer, PVSyst etc. Not to mention you know the relationship between technical and commercial project requirements really well.

    Owners Site Manager – Solar PV

    Is this you?

    • You know that construction is tough, it’s tough on everybody. You know that the pressure is real with ‘on time’ and ‘within budget’ taking priority. You enjoy what you do regardless because this is when you are in your element. You are detail orientated, analytical and proactive.     • As the lead on site, you will oversee site-specific aspects of projects. Amongst other things you are expected to enforce HSE and quality policies with the aim of having an incident free team culture which is important. The position requires you to monitor all construction works ensuring compliance with permits and standards, managing contractors, and coordinating contracts and individual construction services. You will be liaising with landowners and the local authorities, interacting with Eskom, fulfilling all reporting obligations at a high standard. Your ability to read Solar PV designs helps you make sure they are followed and executed according to plan. You already have an idea of what this position will need from you, overseeing project milestones, grid connection, grid code testing, PR testing, COD etc.

    • A Degree in Engineering or Construction is required alongside no less than 5 years’ experience working on Solar PV projects.
