    Senior Bid Manager

    Senior Bid Manager

    Our client in the telecommunications industry is looking for an experienced Global Bid Manager that is available IMMEDIATELY to join there amazing team.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience of telecommunications industry
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience of multi-national, multi-region team management, and proven ability to function within matrix organisations
    • University degree in quantitative subject and postgraduate business qualification or minimum 5 years’ experience in an analytical environment
    • Ideally APMP Qualified to Foundation level (as a minimum). If not formally qualified then demonstrable experience of a structured approach to Bid Management, in line with the principles of the APMP is a requirement
    • Knowledge of the global Telecoms and ICT markets with track record of having operate in multinational business environment
    • Bid Manager should be experienced in managing complex bids; Individual should have experience of managing bids with Total Contract Values in excess of R20 million
    • Experienced working with C Level (internal and customer)
    • Strong decision making skills – able to identify key business issues and balance conflicting interests
    • Strong communication skills – able to convey understanding and earn respect across Global Enterprise.

    Duties:

    • Lead global virtual bid teams across multiple geographies and time zones, working closely with the account team, and directly with multinational customers, to understand their stated and underlying requirements in order to ensure that our solution meets their requirements and the value proposition is explained
    • Provide strategic and tactical business analysis services enabling transparency and understanding of current and historic business activity for the user communities
    • Provide experience of previous global opportunities to the team to influence the Bid Strategy and approach to the customer
    • Responsible for defining and owning the deal closure strategy & managing the negotiation team to ensure that there consistent approach to the negotiation, delivery of tight governance and the maintenance of a one team approach with the end result in facilitating smoother and faster negotiations and maximizing the outcome for in the contracted solution
    • Understanding and communication of risk is a key imperative of the role; Accountable for ensuring that the proper governance has been followed and that stakeholders have approved all risks

    Our client is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect on a Fixed term contract to support the development of suitable technical architecture for Financial Services. To provide architectural guidelines and ensure that architecture principles are adhered to in the development of solutions for Financial Services and Telecommunications. MUST BE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

    Requirements:

    • Degree
    • Togaf
    • 3 - 5 years relevant experience 
    • Product life cycle management
    • Enterprise Architecture and Business Process frameworks
    • Agile

    Duties:

    • Perform system analysis and design activities by assessing requirements in terms of feasibility, impact and cost.
    • Assisting to create and compile accurate user requirement documents.
    • High level solution design.
    • Provide solution architectures that supports the strategic directions of the business.
    • To act as a technical liaison between business and the technical teams and to ensure the required support from all areas to ensure delivery of quality solutions.
    • Participate during the development to implementation phase with the goal of providing reliable, stable and operationally sound solutions that meet the business requirements.
    • Provide support to the project team by advising on the most suitable plan for deployment and transition of the requirements for live use.
    • Engage with team members in all architecture teams regarding new technologies and industry trends, offering recommendations for their adoption based on business goals, investments and benefits and risks.
    • Provide oversight to investigate, analysis and management of technology risks, issues and dependencies in all programs/ projects.
    • Provide leadership and coaching to the team on process, design and architecture principles.
