    Creditors Supervisor - New Germany

    Key Performance Areas

    •  Check and supervise the creditors team
    •  Opening of all new vendors following the required processes and making sure all the fields arecomplete.

    Job Description

    • Responsible for all plant maintenance within the company. Authority to stop a machine in an unsafe condition. Responsibility rests with the incumbent to ensure that the company’s liability is protected in respect of prescribed quality/products/service and safety standards set by the executive.

    Job Key Responsibilities

    •  Maintaining workplace safety standards and a safe working environment, implement and support 5S activities.
    •  Attend to all mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
    •  Investigate and analyse cause and effect of breakdown on equipment.
    •  Carry out necessary activity to repair/resolve breakdown.
    •  Advise management of electrical and mechanical problems and recommend activities to minimize the number of breakdowns.

    Production Superintendent - New Germany

    Job Description

    •  Ensure the factory is staffed with the correct budgeted staffing levels. Ensure that overtime forms are checked and signed off before submission to Manufacturing Director.
    •  Ensure safety standards are implemented and maintained throughout the plant.
    •  Ensure the Operators receive the correct Product Training at ‘First Off’ stage
    •  Assistant Setters to be issued with correct tools, and tools and equipment checked and verified on a weekly basis.
    •  Deliver on required Operating Efficiencies, maintain scrap at recommended rate, and manage downtime
    •  Ensure the moulding machines, Production Tools and Ancillary equipment is in good working order.
    •  Ensure tooling can produce parts to the agreed Quality Standard as defined by the ‘Master Sample’.
    •  Ensure production plan is followed, and parts produced within the allocated time frame.
    •  Cycle time of every machine to be achieved and ensure that works order cycle time to be always used.
    •  Machine Cycles recorded on Produmax must balance up with good parts produced and Reject parts produced for the shift.
    •  Works Order must be balanced up, and jobs that are short run are to have the unused material, returned to Stores and signed off on the Works Order.
    •  Machines and factory floor to be cleaned and kept clear of debris, purge, sprues, oil, dust etc.
    •  Implement 4S activities to ensure the factory is always kept clean and tidy.
    •  Boxes / Dunnage’s to be labelled as they are filled. And QC approved boxes / Dunnage’s to be removed from the shop floor to the WIP or FG Store.
    •  Tool Change to start only after all requirements of the check sheet have been met and everything is prepared.
    •  Tool Change times to be kept within the prescribed times.
    •  First off submission to be done within the prescribed time.
    •  Correct Tool Breakdown procedure to be followed.
    •  All documentation to be available at Workstation before production can commence.
    •  Hourly Production patrols done on machines to ensure compliance to cycle time, hourly count and quality.
    •  2% Rejection Procedure and Escalation to be strictly followed.
    •  All parts manufactured to be to the level of the First Off Sample or better.
    •  Last off Procedure to be followed.

    Minimum Qualification and Experience:

    •  Matric + National Diploma in Production Management or equivalent operations qualification.

    HR Specialist - Pretoria

    FUNCTIONAL DEFINITION
    Full Human Resources function for the site, including setting up company policies and maintaining updated
    employee records whilst ensuring confidentiality is maintained. This incumbent is tasked with ensuring that they foster a healthy workplace by ensuring that the HR procedures run smoothly at all times.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    RECRUITMENT

    •  Complete Recruitment and selection cycle

    Position Qualifications and minimum requirements:

    •  Higher National Diploma in Human Resources. Preferred: NQF Level 6 Industrial Psychology or BCom Majoring in Human Resources/Business Management.
    •  Proven experience as an HR Specialist or Generalist (3-5 years working experience in HR in a manufacturing environment in a unionised environment). Automotive manufacturing experience is an added advantage.
    •  Hands-on experience with tracking systems.
    •  Familiarity with full recruitment cycle
    •  In-depth knowledge of BCEA, LRA, MIBC Main agreement
    •  Management of recruitment process and trends
    •  Management of time and attendance
    •  Computer literacy proficient with Microsoft Office application
