    Servicing Administrator

    Key Purpose of the role

    • The key purpose of this role is to administer Group Risk policies and reassurance premiums, reconciling and administering the Vitality Member billed scheme, process annual reviews, pay commission, process Broker changes and to handle all queries relating to any of the above with external and internal clients.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Process data comparison through the web to prepare reconciliation of premiums to ensure that the client is applying correct rates against internal billing.
    • Ensure underwriting team is provided with accurate information from the data comparison to prepare their audits.
    • Liaison with both internal and external clients to ensure resolution of client queries (TWT); as per SLA
    • Responsible for entire billing process including monitor monthly billing, contributions allocation and sending statements
    • Compare bank statement against scheme batch remits to ensure the accurate allocation of payments/premiums to correct schemes.  Issue credit control where necessary.

    Key Purpose

    To ensure that Discovery digital features and channels meet the needs of their intended audiences through design, analysis, evaluation and testing of the user experience. Designs and conducts analysis and evaluations of systems interfaces with clients and staff, to ensure maximum usefulness and satisfaction, to increase productivity and to elevate the overall quality of the product or service. 

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Create interactive and visual design prototypes ranging from low to high design fidelity. 

    • Conduct user research and usability analysis. 

    • Work closely with developers and product owners to deliver the final product.

    • Conduct peer reviews of usability deliverables.

    • Ensure that UX research, low and high-fidelity design deliverables are consistent and correct.    

    • Have a good understanding of platform and device requirements such as form factors, screen resolutions, pixel density and aspect ratios. 

    • Keep up to date with the latest trends and attend/speak at conferences and Meetups, in order to contribute to innovation and consistency in usability standards and guidelines.  

    • Have regular sessions with leads to convey blockers, training and tool needs. 

    • Contribute to internal training and community forums with UX/UI Designers to broaden awareness of user experience and design best practice. 

    • Use storytelling and persuasion techniques to build trust with stakeholders to establish long term partnerships.

    Education and Experience

    • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.

    • A portfolio of work demonstrating a proven track record for solving difficult UX design problems and simplifying difficult requirements to intuitive interfaces for customers.

    • Matric/Grade 12 and relevant Bachelor's or equivalent 3 year degree. 

    • User experience, Information sciences/technology, Psychology, Informatics, Industrial-design, or related field preferred.

    • A track record of outstanding academic qualifications and professional performance.

    Data Scientist

    Key Purpose

     

    In this role you will be involved in creating opportunities that delight our customers by leveraging Discovery’s vast clinical, demographic and operational data. Using this data with predictive modelling and machine learning techniques you will have a direct impact on strategic initiatives to support Discovery’s world-class operations. The successful applicant will be working within a highly specialized and growing team investigating ways to optimize and improve client services for Discovery’s client schemes.

    • Connecting with a multitude of stakeholders to understand the data in a healthcare and operational context

    • Mining large structured and unstructured datasets to find new insights to inform operational efficiency and ‘ member- delight’ interaction strategies
