    Commercial Quality Deliver Q&C Lead

    What You Will Do 

    • The Commercial Quality Deliver Q&C Lead is responsible for regional quality oversight and execution of Deliver Supply Chain EMEA organization activities in the areas of Distribution, Transportation, Temperature Control, and Customer Service.

    Responsibilities

    This role provides leadership and execution for certain services elements for Commercial Quality to support a rapidly changing business with complex and diverse product lines. Primary services in scope include:

    •  Providing Transportation and Temperature Control supplier quality management services in accordance with standard purchasing controls procedures.
    •  Quality Operations support to the Regional Customer Service organization. Quality Operations support to the Regional Customer Service organization.
    •  Interfacing with Regional Deliver Supply Chain Operations to provide a consolidated Quality Review, Metrics and Reporting for the services in scope.
    •  Quality Operations support for the Regional Transportation Organization and the IRTE (Inter- Regional Transportation) organization executing in EMEA.
    •  Ensuring compliant regional execution and implementation of transportation lane mapping studies, mode qualifications and temperature control systems related to transportation (e.g. monitoring).
    •  Define end execute in collaboration with the Operations and Quality representatives of the business, Q&C Processes, Systems and SOPs, in line with policies, standards and applicable regulations.
    •  Support in execution of improvement strategy that includes responsibilities for development, implementation, and optimization of the service model in the region. Ensure effective deployment and monitoring of Regional Quality Objectives process. Contributes on establishing programs to effectively monitor and assess the quality system through metrics, scorecards, and non-formal Quality Review with regional Deliver Operations.
    •  Responsible for delivering and explaining regional Quality performance metrics on a routine basis and representing Quality for annual regional Deliver objectives planning in transportation and customer service Quality.
    •  Ensures robust performance and continuous improvement of the supplier quality program. Responsible to improve and execute the Regional Deliver EMEA supplier management process.
    •  Participate in benchmarking activities and industry conferences; integrate knowledge into the program strategies.
    •  Identify and explore best practices to improve regional processes in support of the Commercial and Deliver organizations.
    •  Develop and manage relationships with internal and external trade and regulatory organizations as appropriate.
    •  Other activities as required by management.

    Qualifications What We Are Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    •  This role requires a diverse business background with quality and regulatory compliance competencies in the areas of customer service, transportation, distribution, temperature control and commercial operations for a healthcare business.
    •  Business Fluent in English.
    •  University degree from a nationally accredited institution. Preferably degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or life sciences.
    •  Decisive, organized, and able to navigate within a complex regional environment.
    •  Previous experience interfacing with global regulatory agencies, e.g., ANVISA, INVIMA, FDA, MHRA, TGA, notified bodies, etc., and a history of success and credibility resolving regulatory compliance issues.
    •  Quality system management experience, including advanced Quality Technology Systems.
    •  Excellent communication / presentation skills, able to inspire trust and quickly build credibility within the Quality & Compliance, Supply Chain, and Commercial organizations.
    •  Expert level knowledge on Audit and inspection, Change Control, NC/CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, Documentation Control

    Desired Qualifications

    •  Experience with the regional aspects of the role specifically: multi-cultural / multi-country locations and country specific healthcare regulatory requirements.
    •  Experience in building consensus and able to impact outcomes without always having line authority.
    •  Ability to negotiate trade off decisions across the organization. Must have strong collaboration and influence management skills to partner effectively across functions and operating units.
    •  Strong analytical and strategic skills with a Bifocal approach - ability to zoom-in/zoom-out for strategic and tactical, high-level, and detailed.
    •  High tolerance for ambiguity in a complex environment. Makes the complex clear and easily understood by others.

    Brand Manager: Stayfree, Savlon & Band-Aid

    Purpose for the role:

    • This professional will develop strategies to support and grow Johnson’s Baby in key markets.

    Responsibilities and the impact YOU will have:

    •  Develop strategies to support Stayfree, Savlon & Band-Aid in key Sub-Sahara African markets
    •  Leads annual brand planning process, working closely with the in-market teams to deliver sound annual plans that clearly map out growth opportunities / objectives and the plans required to deliver against these objectives
    •  Develop, plan, implement and evaluate marketing activities / advertising / promotional plans.
    •  Plan NPD pipelines and implement new product launches
    •  Build insights that inform consumer relevant / market appropriate mix development
    •  Build thorough understanding of the competitive landscape per market and the performance levers within each market.
    •  Implementation of marketing mixes that are consistent with overall strategies.
    •  Proactively identify emerging trends, develop deep understanding of category and professional landscape to help shape future direction and define strategy to execution based on insights
    •  Manage and optimize existing education programs aimed at educating children on oral hygiene.
    •  Implementation of marketing mixes that are consistent with overall strategies
    •  Ongoing measurement and evaluation of broad strategies and activity plans with strategies evaluated over time and adjusted as necessary
    •  Manage budgets and return on investment
    •  Participate in financial planning process and takes accountability for financial and P&L performance of key brands / markets
    •  Partner with Regulatory to understand criteria and regulations per market and to facilitate the relevant registrations and marketing execution across markets.
    •  Ongoing measurement and evaluation of broad strategies and activity plans with strategies evaluated over time and adjusted as necessary.
    •  Support, develop, and manage business financials, P&L performance, product forecasting, and budgets to ensure plans can be executed and financial targets delivered
    •  Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, packaging, cluster/franchise marketing, and sales for strategic packaging, commercialization, advertising, content creation, and promotion
    •  Partner closely with cross-functional peers to address capabilities gaps, remove inefficiency from value chains, and drive profitability
    •  Manage and partner with 3rd party agency & vendors to develop and select communication plans and advertising to improve business results; Monitor advertising performance to optimize return on investment
    •  Continually assess digital performance to figure out what is / isn’t working using data, analytics and insights to continuously optimize performance, delivering aligned success metrics
    •  Contribute to a high-performance environment with a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ability to drive deeper integration with greater J&J team
    •  Ensure internal/external alignment, while growing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

    Qualifications What we are looking for

    •  Matric plus a relevant marketing or business degree or diploma.
    •  3 - 5 years brand management experience with consistent track record in brand strategy and marketing mix development and implementation in Consumer Goods industry at a multi-national company.
    •  Has strong numerical analytical skills with the ability to apply to both commercial & marketing opportunities.
    •  Able to think strategically.
    •  Ability to take initiative and to be proactive (self starter).
    •  Ability to manage complexity.
    •  Ability to collaborate and build productive working relationships.
    •  Tenacity to see things though and to deliver the long-term vision.
    •  Leadership ability and potential (role will grow as SSA business grows).
    •  Insight development, Brand positioning, brand idea and communication strategy, Marketing research and consumer planning, Trend foresight, competitive and external environment, Communication channels, Brand and business planning, Brand profitability, Product and packaging development (NPD / NPI), Pricing, Trade channels, Portfolio management, Project management, Commercial and business acumen required to complete business case development and market share analysis.
