    Export Account Manager

    Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:

    • Drive sales and profitability targets by optimizing sales opportunities through distributor management
    • Ensure delivery of the volume and value targets to achieve the Business Plan
    • Ensure requirements of distributors are met by wholesale & retail product selection, availability, and the store opening environment are planned through the cross matrix functions
    • Monitor market development country-by-country, recommend and implement adequate business models
    • Define the position of the product with the distributor (good, better, best). Adapt the line to suit retail/wholesale format
    • Ensure account, marketing and assortment plans are in place that provide effective sell-through account management
    • Collaborate effectively with Trade Marketing in order to ensure doors are equipped with an appropriate Retail format and organize Retail training
    • Build excellent distributor relationships to establish and maintain customer and consumer satisfaction
    • Ensure requirements of our customers are met by retail product selection, availability, and the store operating environment in line with LRN and Retail Segmentation criteria
    • Control, monitor and guide customers A&P spending within their business targets
    • Deliver market intelligence to Distributor management based on feedback from distributors and consumers
    • Identify new store locations while applying consistent qualitative and commercial benchmarks
    • Strong internal relationships with the key stakeholders (Retail, Brand and Trade Marketing, Merchandising and Finance) enabling achievement growth targets in-line with projected plan and financial KPI’s

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Tertiary Qualification – Retail/Sales qualifications will advantageous.
    • At least 6-8 years Account Management experience in African countries
    • Proven experience in managing stakeholders at all levels, preferably in account management
    • Effective multi-tasker, with strong ability to interact with multi-functional stakeholders
    • Proven ability to build partnerships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proven excellent communication and negotiation Skills.
    • Africa market knowledge a must, understand the currency and economic, environmental & cultural factors
    • Must be Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • The suitable candidate must be in possession of a valid driver’s license and own transport.
    • Travel to African Countries will be required

    Assistant Brand Manager

    Job Purpose:

    As part of the Marketing team, assist the team in implementing global consumer marketing strategies and programs in South Africa & Sub Sahara Africa which maximize local business growth, profitability, and consumer equity. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist Marketing Manager with all Marketing activity:
    • Briefs and debriefs for all activity
    • Image sourcing and download for all new product as well as campaigns – all channels
    • Managing Press Product Samples
    • Sourcing Product for shoots, media, promotional activity, competitions etc.
    • Assisting with copy & assets for paid media chase-lists
    • Manage all customer complaints/queries received through Marketing Mailbox
    • Assist in the marketing budgeting /financial admin process – new vendors, purchase order tracking, Purchase Requisitions
    • Assist the brand team with all admin related tasks -e.g. for any promotional activity, internal and external events, marketing materials etc.
    • Assist Ecommerce & CRM manager with:
    • Sourcing and securing all PDP imagery, collating and compiling template
    • Weekly site sweep and managing changes and updates through briefing
    • Assisting with Fit Guide updates 
    • Sourcing imagery for monthly online banners
    • Assisting with building and planning New Arrivals emailers for deployment
    • Support on CRM briefs and activities
    • Uploading all Screen content and managing the portal on a monthly basis

    Qualifications

    • A Degree in Marketing
    • Min 2 years work experience in a similar role

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Social Media proficiency & some Ecommerce experience
    • Fast learner, confident to learn new systems
    • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
