    IT Consultant

    Job Description    
    Main purpose of the job:

    • To implement, maintain and enhance the functionality of the
    • systems, integration, and applications of clients.
    • To ensure that all systems that are developed and implemented.
    • To deliver application solutions to meet the relevant division’s business needs.
    • Collaborates with and guides consultants to configure and deploy solutions as agreed to by business representatives.
    • Holds overall accountability for the technical delivery of changes within the application configuration space and possess a solid
    • understanding of the whole portfolio of technical change and how it aligns with Premier’s overall goals.

    Job Objectives of a Consultant: IT.

    • Keep project plans up to date for all projects directly responsible for either as an individual or team leader.
    • Implement new systems to specification.
    • Take a detailed client brief, analyze the system requirements, and prepare a detailed outcomes-based project plan, including resource allocations and costing.
    • Ensure that all systems implemented in the best possible way which includes the implementation of reusable utilities.
    • Ensure junior team members have appropriate skills and tools to perform their required tasks.
    • Implement solutions within the application and Premier framework and within the Architecture guidelines.
    • Contribution to process design, testing scenarios and end user documentation.
    • Effective business and process analysis for project scoping and solution design.
    • Understands business processes and advise on best practices in the application of Information Technology.
    • Ensure all project tasks continue to address the needs of the company and fit within the overall scope of the project and are completed on time in budget.
    • Contribute to the design and configuration of application products and services delivery for the relevant division.
    • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture on the delivery of data and application architecture.
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to perform effective staff, infrastructure, and capability planning.
    • Enable awareness of evolving technical and business capabilities.
    • Collaborate with relevant operational and consulting team members to construct testing and implementation strategies.
    • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices.
    • Ensure that products and services meet business needs and expectations.

    Qualification Requirements    
    Education

    • Matric/ Grade 12
    • Bachelor-level University degree, preferable a B.Sc., B.IT, B. Com)
    • Certified in MBS Installation & Configuration and Financials
    • Certified in intermediate accounting principles

    Experience Requirements    

    • Job Experience
    • 2-5 years IT Consulting
    • 3+ Years’ experience using Microsoft Business Solutions
    • 3+ Years practical experience relevant to the above-mentioned certifications
    • Familiar with the MBS implementation methodologies or similar
    • Worked on an implementation project or support centre participating as team member

    Job Description    
    Purpose of the job:

    • To ensure that accurate and timeous financial information is processed into the Premier Financial systems. Also responsible for stock control
    • management from raw material to finished products and returns for the Queenstown and Port Elizabeth Depots and to relieve the Accountant at Fort Jackson. The successful candidate will be based in Fort Jackson Bakery.

    Human Resources Officer

    Job Description    
    Purpose of the job:

    • To provide support to the HR Manager through implementation and administration of HR initiatives for day-to-day transactional tasks. Assist with any front office HR requirements like recruitment and selection, representation at disciplinary hearings and CCMA, any and all employee administration and onboarding. Also includes Port Elizabeth Depot.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the implementation of the HR plans and strategies.
    • Provide administrative support to HR Manager.
    • Rendering HR Services through the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Advise business, at site level, on best course of action in relation to IR and disciplinary process and procedures up to CCMA level, with support from the HR Manager.
    • To ensure that the organisation is staffed with appropriately qualified and skilled employees.
    • Provide administration support on EE process.
    • Administration of the HR SAGE system.
    • Support EE/SD Forum meetings and provide coordination and administrative service to it.

    Qualification Requirements
