    Job Description    

    • Record all job card numbers on computer s/s

    Head Of Department: Licensing

    Job Description    

    The purpose of this executive position is to lead and manage the Licensing Department in accordance with the objectives of the Board.

    • The key performance areas of this position will, inter alia, include:: Managing the activities of the department with respect to accurate and timeous investigations of applications for new and renewed gambling licences.
    • Ensuring that informative reports are submitted to the CEO and Board upon which decisions to approve or deny an application for a licence can be made.
    • Managing the administration and performance of the department with respect to the upkeep of the licensing data and ensuring the correct fees are charged and costs recovered from applicants.

    Services Manager (Electrical)

    Job Description    

    Reporting to the Senior Manager: Electrical, the Services Manager (Electrical) is responsible for maintaining all electrical infrastructure across the Company precinct. This will be achieved by responding to a service desk and directing and managing the efficiencies of teams of electrical artisans and semi-skilled assistants. The Services Manager (Electrical) will be required to oversee team members performing inspections, preparing reports, and doing repairs; while also being able to carry out these duties personally and ensuring high quality work overall

    Assets

    • Assess all Electrical Assets & Infrastructures/Buildings, and report on defects and ensure implementation - this will entail reactive and     planned maintenance.
    • Draft repair schedules.Monitor quality of all Electrical repair and planned maintenance works.

    Reactive Maintenance

    • Implement Reactive maintenance strategy successfully (within time, budget, and quality).
    • Implement Reactive maintenance to Retail, Commercial, Marketing, Security, Residential & Apartments, Marine & Industrial Clients and Assets.
    • Implement Reactive maintenance to all Electrical Engineering Infrastructure & assets i.e., MV & LV Reticulations, Transformers, Generators, Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS), Ring Main Units (RMU’s), Solar PV Systems on/in Buildings and Structures.
    • Prioritise and expedite all work orders specific to the Retail & Commercial tenants and residential apartments.

    • Coordinate and arrange all access, permits with tenant/s, Company Traffic and/or Health and Safety departments.

    • Implement agreed planned maintenance strategy successfully (within time, budget and quality).
    • Implement planned maintenance to Operations, Retail, Commercial, Residential and Apartments, Marine & Industrial Clients and Assets.
    • Implement Planned maintenance to all Electrical Engineering Infrastructure & assets i.e., MV & LV Reticulations, Transformers, Generators, Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS), Ring Main Units (RMU’s), Solar PV Systems on/in Buildings and Structures.
    • Prepare, monitor, and follow up to ensure that service schedules are adhered to.

    Inspection and Audits

    • Implementation of Company Strategic Asset Management Plan.

    • Prevent further damage to the company's assets or buildings.
    • Assess, determine, and undertake steps to prevent catastrophic failure of building electrical reticulation infrastructure.
    • Carry out regular inspections of buildings MV & LV substations, generator plants and common area lighting including street lighting to identify and resolve issues.
    • Carry out regular condition audits of building electrical infrastructure.

    General / Technical Support

    • Plan and oversee all repair and planned maintenance works at 
    • Manage and allocate the daily work orders arising from the Plan ON® computerised maintenance management system to ensure work orders are attended to and closed within the SLA agreed time limits.
    • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems and implement solutions for future build and building improvement.
    • Monitor on-site and store spares, materials, and inventory for the apartments and or marina infrastructure.
    • Maintain required stock levels and ensure efficient in-house repairs/fixes.
    • Contribute to new business projects, refurbishments and tenant installations, review plans and specifications and communicate the impact on maintenances activities.

    Resource Management: Budget, Finance and Procurement

    • Provide input to Drafting Annual OPEX budgets relating to Repairs and Maintenance as well as Planned

    • Recording and Archiving of Specifications, Rates, Material Data Sheets and other Technical Information as acquired in Industry.
    • Assess works and prepare technical specifications for tender or quotation
    • Conduct all admin functions (processing of quotes and invoices)
    • Assess and draft reports where legal claims are expected due to Electrical infrastructure failure etc.

    Project Management

    • Assist Senior Manager: Electrical with small to medium scale construction, renovation or refurbishment  projects required within the company precinct complex. (Capex)
    • Assist Senior Manager: Electrical with inspection and monitoring of all project

    Inherent Requirements    

    • Educational requirements relevant to this job:
    •  Artisan with minimum NTC5 or deemed equivalent
    • Successful completion of an appropriate apprenticeship
    • Passing of a recognized industry trade test
