    Claims Assessor

    What will make you successful in this role:

    • To assess each claim on the claim administration system and identify the type of claim
    • Assess the validity of the identified claim by assuring all the supporting documentation has been submitted. (assess the documentation in terms of signed claim form, id of deceased, proof of bank details, death certificate, BI 1663)
    • Valid claims are processes on the administration system and send for payment
    • Claims that have outstanding documentation: client will be notified of outstanding requirement
    • Invalid claims will be rejected/ Repudiated
    • All claims processes must align to SLA and SOPS
    • To maintain and error rating of less than 1 %
    • Assure capturing of claims are done accurately
    • Assure all criteria is met to pay claim
    • Assure the quality of feedback (written and verbal) to clients
    • To ensure that clients are provided with real time information on the status of the claim (feedback on the claim processing)
    • Assure feedback on requirements for successful claims payment is done timeously

    Qualification and Experience

    • Grade 12 with 1 to 2 years related experience.

    Senior Portfolio Manager: Unlisted Debt

    What you will do:

    • Raising new capital and report back to existing investors
      • Present the funds to potential investors
      • Provide feedback on funds' performance
      • Engage with investors on a regular basis
    • Deal origination
      • Sourcing of transactions
      • Developing intermediary relationships
      • Maintaining client and counterparty relationships
      • Represent SI: Alternative Investments in all required client interaction
      • Drive and provide input to porfolio strategy
      • Advance research efforts and improve overall quality and coverage
      • Qualitative and quantitative review and analysis of new opportunities for current and potential counterparties, including company due diligence and valuations
      • Financial modelling / structuring of unlisted transactions
      • Legal review and negotiation of unlisted finance documents

    • Monitoring
      • Post execution monitoring of unlisted transactions, including annual and semi-annual valuations

    What will make you successful in this role:

    • The purpose of the Senior Portfolio Manager role is to provide support for the Head of Private Debt in particular in raising new investors for the private debt funds and sourcing and structuring new investments. It further requires portfolio management, risk management and portfolio strategy knowledge and skills.
    • Relevan University Degree (Finance / Mathematics / Statistics / Business Science / Actuarial)
    • Releval Post Graduate qualification
    • 8 - 12 years' experience in unlisted credit
    • Demonstrated excellence in the field of unlisted credit
    • CA(SA), CFA, MBA would be advantageous
    • Experience in leading and managing teams

    Qualification and Experience

    • Appropriate Financial Degree with 8 to 10 years related experience

    Human Resources Assistant: HR Group Technology & Information

    What will you do:

    Responsible for assisting human resources staff in a wide variety of administrative duties or may be responsible for one aspect of personnel work at a higher level of complexity dealing with staff queries and advising on company benefits policy e.g. pension, housing, medical aid, leave and other benefits administration. May also document manpower planning and statistics. May have supervisory responsibilities.  Includes recruitment duties.

    What will make you successful in this role:

    • HR Administrative support with the following:
      • End to administration with regard to business as usual as well as graduate recruitment and selection, including but not limited to the following:
        • support line managers to initiate the recruitment process in system,
        • posting of job requisitions, 
        • shortlisting for non-technical roles, 
        • scheduling interviews (face to face and video conferencing), 
        • preparing interview packs for interview panel, 
        • conducting MIE checks
        • drafting of appointment letters, 
        • facilitate on- and off-boarding processes, etc.
      • Issuing and processing of appointments, terminations, promotions, transfers
      • Scheduling newcomers for orientation 
    • Scheduling of job evaluations
    • Liaison with recruitment agencies 
    • myWorkSpace (Success Factors – Human Capital Management System) support and assistance with employee enquiries:
      • Medical aid
      • Leave 
      • Study loans
      • Study bursaries
      • Salary queries 
      • Service recognition

      • Adhoc queries 
    • Provide guidance to training administrators wrt capturing of training interventions
    • Support with industrial relations administration

      • Annual Training Report (ATR) and Workplace Skills Plan (WSP)

    Qualification(s), Experience and Knowledge

    • Grade 12
    • A post matric HR related Certificate/Diploma 
    • At least 5 years HR administration experience or previous office administration/management 
    • Experience in payroll would be advantageous
    • Report writing 
    • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Knowledge of HR processes 
    • Knowledge of SAP/SuccesFactors will be preferable  
    • Knowledge of any other recruitment system can be an added advantage
