    Customer Support Centre Manager - M2

    General Description:

    Responsible for successfully managing the Customer Support Centre Operation to provide industry leading sales support which exceeds customer expectations and fosters customer loyalty and a positive customer experience to support the achievement of sales target

    Main responsibilities:

    • Participate in and contribute to the development of the Sales Area aftermarket strategic plan
    • Develop and implement the required Customer Support Centre activities, tools and resources in alignment with the Sales Area
    • Aftermarket strategic plan to ensure business and operational targets are met or exceeded
    • Growth of customer interactions through E-Business
    • Ensure performance management processes are implemented (including talent & succession planning & performance development)
    • Accountable for the business and operational result of the Customer Support Centre
    • Ensure strong working relationships with customers and stakeholders are developed and maintained
    • Ensure the relevant activities (sales) are executed to increase the aftermarket revenue and customer service
    • Ensure continuous improvement of Customer Support Centre processes & procedures to maintain currency and accuracy
    • Communicate and follow finished goods inventory as part of SOP process
    • Conduct check of actual customer order vs. case & quotation and identify any discrepancies in terms & conditions and specifications

    • Sales management experience
    • Mining or Construction Industry knowledge (advantageous)
    • English proficiency
    • Will be required to travel

    OCS Technician - S3

    The Role

    Provides technical support to Production/Planning department/Technical department on a variety of technical tasks to achieve improvements in production and operation processes. This position is for an OCS Technician (Operations Control System Technician)

    Key Performance Areas

    • The preferred candidate must have vast experience in the following, Opti mine modules on site, Location Tracking, Task Management, Remote Monitoring, Onboard equipment communication devices, Aerials, DCU, Scheduler. It is essential to have excellent computer skills.
    • Develops and recommends procedures and methods and prepares technical reports and documentation.
    • Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective action.
    • Monitors instruments and equipment and collects operating data including calibration, inspection, testing and repair activities to assist in making on-line adjustments to instruments, equipment or products.
    • Analyzes and resolves malfunctions and deviations of instruments and control systems to identify and resolve problems.
    • Conducts analyses and prepares reports using metrics from salvage tracking, trending, reporting and root cause analyses.
    • Maintains process designs to optimize process and facility use while conforming to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).

    Profile Required

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
    • N3 Technical qualification
    • Trade Certificate of Competence
    • Advanced Computer Literacy
    • English proficiency
    • Relevant TMM mining experience (5 years)
    • Relevant mechanized mining experience (5 years)
    • Underground/surface mining environment
    • Maintenance of earthmoving equipment in mining/construction environment
