    Recruitment Coordinator - Cape Town City Centre

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Screen potential candidates and submit shortlisted candidates the relevant Hiring manager for review.
    • Schedule all interviews for shortlisted candidates.
    • Fully responsible for candidate/applicant tracking, initiating background checks and partnering with the broader HR team for new hire on-boarding and paperwork processing.

    Housekeeping Coordinator

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Assist Housekeeping management in managing the daily activities for the department.
    • Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Office, and Laundry to ensure the smooth running of the department.
    • Coordinate and provide administrative support to all areas of the Housekeeping department.

    F&B Operations Manager

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Oversee and manage the F&B outlets as required, ensuring the smooth running of the outlets Schedule all interviews for shortlisted candidates.
    • Responsible for the day-to-day logistics of food and beverage service and to increase productivity and reduce costs.
    • Be interactive, intuitive, creative, active and visible in all food and beverage areas to ensure that high standard of guest relations and service is maintained.
    • Oversees the co-ordination and preparation of staff rosters for all F&B outlets to ensure adequate coverage in all F&B outlets according to occupancy.

    • Address any grievance and counselling issues among the department.

    What You Bring:

    • Minimum of 5 years F&B management experience in a luxury hotel environment.
    • Excellent leaderships skills, with the ability to manage and motivate others.
    • Excellent knowledge of food cost, employee scheduling and payroll.
    • Extensive food and beverage product knowledge.
    • Good understating of financial principles.
    • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

    F&B Attendant - Cape Town City Centre

    Laundry Attendant - Cape Town City Centre

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Folding, pressing, sorting and maintaining the proper storage of all hotel linen.
    • Responsible for the dry cleaning of guest clothing and other tasks related to the department.
    • Follow Leading Quality Assurance and departmental standards at all times.
    • Sorting of all sheets, robes and duvets etc into separate laundry bins.
    • Inspect linen/garments for stains, rips or damage that might have been overlooked by the housekeeper.
    • Turn in all lost and found items in accordance with lost and found procedures.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
    • Collect, sort and label guest items for appropriate action (washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair).
    • Process the clothing/linen on the correct equipment, using the appropriate temperature and chemicals. Once processed, fold or hang the clothing as desired.
    • Process and issue employee uniforms.
    • Operates and maintains washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, presser and iron.
    • Report any broken or faulty equipment to the Laundry Manager.
    • Assist with quarterly OE stock count as and when required.
    • Complete all daily duties as set out in departmental duties and requirements.
    • Remove stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
    • Maintain an updated inventory of laundry detergents.
    • Manage and respond to guest requests in accordance to company standard.
    • Ensure soiled and damaged linen is stored and disposed of correctly.
    • Maintain linen room to ensure floors and shelves are stocked with the correct amount of each linen item.
    • Assist with the general day to day duties to maintain the Laundry department.

    Requirements

    What You Bring:

    • Previous experience within a similar role in a 5-star Hotel environment – advantageous
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to accurately follow garment care instructions 
    • Knowledge of stain treatments
    • Good customer service skills
    • Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
    • Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
