    Financial Administrator / Bookkeeper

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Full function bookkeeping
    • Accounts payable principles, electronic banking & balancing of accounts
    • Customer invoicing
    • VAT Processing
    • Maintenance of filing system
    • Assistance to Financial Manager, including but not limited to:
      Monthly reconciliations
      Statutory submissions
      Year-end audits
      Budget preparation
    • Asset Register maintenance

    REQUIREMENTS

    • An accounting diploma or degree will be advantageous
    • 5 years’ experience in Bookkeeping
    • Experience in Pastel Partner/SAGE Evolution and Microsoft Office products
    • Experience in MDA/MRI will be advantageous

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and deadlines
    • Creative and analytical thinker
    • Excellent interpersonal skills / teamwork
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise

    Creditors Clerk

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Printing & Distributing invoices received via e-mails.
    • Stamping & Completing stamps on invoices.
    • Forwarding Additional Remittances.
    • Capturing new and change of suppliers banking details.
    • Distributing Payment Files to Managers for signing off payments.
    • Importing creditor payments on MDA.
    • Capturing Ad-Hoc payments on MDA & FNB Internet banking.
    • Requesting invoices not received.
    • Follow up on monthly invoices and update monthly follow up sheet.
    • Invoice queries (on monthly payments only).
    • Capturing Stationery Debits.
    • Preparation & Payments of Municipal Accounts.
    • Printing Municipal Accounts from WEB.
    • Sorting and managing municipal queries & problems.
    • Preparing Daily Balances.
    • Duties as instructed by Manager.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Being creative in ensuring a proper flow of processes.
    • Adhering to prescribed target dates and procedures as per the Financial Manager and D Date Roster.
    • To be an effective team player.
    • High degree of accuracy.
    • Managing of an effective and efficient filing system.
    • Work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Admin and computer skills.
    • Punctual execution of administration.
    • Good interpersonal skills in-house and clients.
    • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel & Outlook.
    • Creative thinker.
    • Ability to multi task.
    • Work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
    • Attention to detail/high degree of accuracy.
