    Site Supervisor - 6 month contract

    Main Duties & Responsibilities:

    • To ensure that all daily activities regarding the monitoring of GET are carried out
    • Assist with machine inspections, air test and pull-down tests as required
    • Co-ordinate and supervise shift procedures and assist with GET changes
    • Ensure that GET is transported to and from operational area and stores as required
    • Attend to good housekeeping in area of responsibility
    • Report defects and on machines and GET to the manager
    • Assist the manager with the implementation of safety issues and correct working procedures as per codes of practice
    • Do dull grading on all GET
    • Data Collection and Capturing
    • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Monthly Feedback Meeting with Customer
    • Will carry out any other function or duty as may be required in terms of “The Epiroc Way”

    Competences, Skills and Experience:

    • Require medical fitness certificate
    • Able to work with minimum supervision
    • Code 8 Driver’s License
    • Surface Rock Drilling Tools experience – handling, analysing, data recording, reporting
    • Good / sound interpersonal / customer relations to be maintained at all times.
    • Ability to read and write
    • Able to work with minimum supervision.
    • Good communication skills and customer focused.
    • Computer Literacy
    • Hi-ab / Palfinger crane license
    • Previously held a Red Permit license
    • Basic Rigging

    Junior Accounting to Reporting Specialist

    Mission:

    • Ensuring quality Junior Accounting to Reporting service delivery to Customers and the Senior Accounting Specialist in sub-Saharan Africa supported by the Regional Centre of Excellence while continuously improving the processes and tools to ensure further efficiencies

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the delivery of quality Accounting to Reporting (A2R) services to the sub-Saharan organisations in line with Service Level Agreements and the Epiroc Way as well as business requirements
    • Support the implementation of improvements to processes and tools in A2R
    • Assist with improving and implementing process alignment in the Region
    • Perform day to day activities
    • Continuously look for improvement opportunities in processes and ways of working, while using digitization and Robotic Process Automation as an enabler to achieve further efficiencies
    • Participate in projects for the A2R Regional Centre of Excellence Team
    • Contribute to an excellent communication flow with stakeholders in the Region and relevant parts of the Global organisation
    • Ensure agreed procedures are maintained and adhered to within the team
    • You will be expected to carry out any other function or duty as may be required in terms of "The Epiroc Way"

    Skills and Experience:

    • 2-3 years experience in an accounting environment  or accounting articles completion.
    • 2-5 years' experience in working in an A2R team in a multinational Shared Service organization will be an advantage.
    • Past experience in an Industrial machinery and working experience with countries in Africa would be preferred.
    • Bank reconciliations experience working across various banks in Africa.
    • Forex exposure and working with different currencies
    • Intercompany reporting exposure and working closely with the Accounts payable team
    • Understanding of the Accounts receivable and Accounts payable process in a Multi national environment.
    • Entry level general ledger recons
    • Microsoft teams/SharePoint knowledge
    • Assistance with month end reporting

    Competence:

    • Fluency in English is a key requirement.
    • Proven ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Knowledge of SAP BW,BPCS-AS 400, Infor M3,BPC SAP
    • Lotus Notes, SharePoint and Microsoft Office will be an advantage

    Educational Qualification:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accountancy

    Site Administrator - Mogalakwena

    Main Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Capturing and Reporting of Receipts and Issuing of Drilling Consumables per Customer.
    • Processing of daily/weekly/monthly count sheets reported from site.
    • Inventory Management, Consumption Reporting per customer requirement.
    • Reporting of stock receipts and issuing for warehouse/stock take/reconciliation of stocks in collaboration with Customer Manager and Customer Care
    • Documentation flow and control
    • General office administration, reception, and housekeeping.
    • Physical Stock Counts for Verification
    • Immediate Reporting of any stock discrepancies to the Customer Manager
    • Capturing of Weekly Count Sheets
    • Capturing of Full Monthly Count and submitting to Customer Care Representative for invoicing purposes
    • Alerting Customer Manager of any stock shortages/surpluses/miscounts
    • Assist Site Manager and Customer Manager with Physical Stock Counts
    • Use of SIM App where applicable
    • Presence on Site as required
    • Efficiency and accuracy of receipts and issuing into customer specific report.

    Competences, Skills and Experience:

    • Computer literacy and a good working knowledge of BPCS (Viewing Access) and Microsoft Office Programmes.
    • Valid South African Driver’s License
    • Good Epiroc RGD product knowledge
    • Ability to understand complete flow of goods ordered through the system.
    • Good customer relations, good telephone manner and communication skills.
    • Customer satisfaction, good interpersonal and customer relationships
    • Ability to work unsupervised.
    • Interpersonal skills to work with customers and to work as part of the customer service team
    • Work experience in stock management and reconciliation beneficial
    • Time Management and Accurate Capturing.

    GET Operative

    Main Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Ensures good housekeeping principals are maintained in and around the consignment stock warehouse
    • Receives all new and refurbished equipment sent to the consignment stock warehouse, checks the correctness and quantities of the items and signs the documentation accepting the contents.
    • Pack the new and refurbished equipment on the correct shelf in the consignment stock warehouse
    • Records quantities received into the stock control sheet with the document number
    • Issues new or refurbished equipment to the operators at the beginning of the shift customer specified exchange method.
    • Records the issued equipment in the control sheets
    • Records returned used equipment on the discard analysis sheet
    • Pack returned stock into the racks provided
    • Sharpen bits if required
    • Locks the store and proceeds underground to do an over inspection of drilling operations
    • Take corrective action to rectify incorrect drilling or equipment usage
    • Give weekly stock replenishing sheet to the representative who will place these orders on the Distribution Centre for the weekly delivery
    • Complete the daily report for the previous 24-hour cycle and take the daily report to the designated Mine Official
    • Notify the Site Supervisor and/or Customer Manager of any abnormal occurrences.
    • Identify problematic areas (Operator, Rigs/HH Rock Drills, Product Performance)
    • Any such duties that may be reasonably be required in relation to the supply and service agreement with the customer.
