We are currently on a search for X2 Training Coordinators to be based in Durban and Ezakheni(Ladysmith) who will be responsible for assessing organizational training needs, designing, and delivering tailored training programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of these training initiatives. This position requires a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, employee development, detailed and accurate reporting for the purposes of Employment Equity, WSP, ATR and Management structures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12.
- Relevant Training and Development qualification or studying toward such qualification or similar.
- Proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Detailed Analytical skills.
- Problem-Solving skills.
- Time Management / multitasking.
- Strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and employee development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organisational Training needs analysis
- Conducting assessments to determine the skills and knowledge gaps within the organization
- Identifying areas where training is needed
- Critical skills and position matrix is available and regularly updated
Design of Internal Training Programs
- Developing training programs and materials that address identified needs aligned with organizational goals
- Utilize effective instructional methods
Facilitating / Coordinating Internal and / or External Training Programs
- Coordinating training sessions, workshops, and seminars
- Facilitating internal trainings based on the WSP and relevant management requests
- Organizing external trainers or resources
Assessments and Reporting
- Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through various means such as feedback forms, assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure that learning objectives are met.
- Reporting on ROI to management
- Maintain the reporting database to ensure that it is always up to date and available as and when required
- Ensure that WSP and ATR are submitted on time according to industry
Coordinating Training Logistics
- Organizing training schedules, venues, materials, and resources to ensure smooth delivery of training
Tracking Training Budgets and Reporting
- Tracking and reporting on the training budget
- Allocating resources efficiently
Supporting Employee Development
- Assisting the HRBP’s who provide guidance and support to employees seeking professional development opportunities
- Assisting the HRBP’s with Identifying relevant training courses or certifications, if applicable, to support employee development
Maintaining Training Records
- Keeping accurate records of training completed for the purposes of relevant reporting structures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Collaborating with Stakeholders
- Working closely with the HRBP’s during their collaboration with department managers, HR, and other stakeholders to understand specific training needs
- Supporting the HRBP’s when motivating to management the requirement of specific trainings identified as critical to the organisation
- Attending Employment Equity and Skills Development Committee meetings and provide the committee with relevant data and information as and when required
Promoting a Learning Culture
- Encouraging a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization by promoting training opportunities
- Recognizing and rewarding employee participation and achievement
Monitoring Training Compliance
- Ensuring that training programs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Ensuring that all legislative and compliance training is budgeted for, planned, scheduled and recorded

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the storeroom facility, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distributing of material and product
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in stores operations, inventory management, or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with stores management systems (SAP preferable) and MS Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Forklift certification and knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of stores personnel, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows and standard operating procedures to optimize stores operations.
- Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
- Train, mentor, and coach stores personnel to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to stores team members.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and production, to coordinate inventory needs and resolve issues.
- Utilize stores management systems and other software tools to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data for continuous improvement.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to inventory, orders, or shipments in a timely and effective manner.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
PHYSICAL REQUERIMENTS:
- The need to stand, walk, and move around the stores facility for extended periods of time including the stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced and physically active work environment.
- The need to lift, carry, and move heavy items, materials, or products. This may involve lifting boxes, packages, or inventory using proper lifting techniques or equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
- The need to handle and manipulate inventory, equipment, tools, and machinery. This requires good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and effectively.
- The need to bend, stoop, reach, and stretch to access items on shelves, racks, or storage containers.
- The need to work in environments with varying temperatures, humidity levels, and lighting conditions.
- The need to have a strong awareness of safety protocols and practices to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards. This will include wearing the appropriate PPE and adhering to safety guidelines when operating equipment or handling materials.
