    Heavy Vehicle Driver (Mechanisation)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

    Vehicle Operation

    • Perform general transportation tasks.
    • Receive and execute tasks from the branch manager.
    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of loads.
    • Secure loads properly and ensure safe delivery to the correct destination.
    • Adhere to all traffic regulations.
    • Submit invoices and fuel slips daily.
    • Maintain correct tyre pressure and ensure vehicle license disk is valid and visible.
    • Safely handle and store the vehicle.
    • Perform various ad hoc driving tasks as required.a

    Vehicle Maintenance

    • Provide feedback on vehicle performance.
    • Manage delivery documents, invoices, fuel slips, and accident reports.

    Distribution/Delivery of Stock

    • Verify and load the correct amount and type of product onto the vehicle.
    • Collect mail and parcels as needed.
    • Ensure safe and correct loading/unloading of products.
    • Obtain proof of receipt with a signature for all deliveries.
    • Deposit received cash on a daily basis.

    General Stock

    • Clean the vehicle as required.
    • Provide ad hoc support as instructed.

    Job Card Clerk (Equipment)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

    • Efficiently generate and manage job cards for agricultural equipment servicing and repairs.
    • Maintain accurate records, ensuring effective communication between technicians and service managers.
    • Act as a liaison for customers, addressing inquiries and providing updates on service status.
    • Execute administrative tasks including reporting, documentation, and inventory management.
    • Accurately log and deliver hours worked, incorporating key metrics such as kilometres travelled, travel time, and labour hours, into the job card system to maintain precise records of service-related activities.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with customers to provide updates on the status of their equipment, estimated completion times, and any additional service requirements.

    Requirements

    • National Senior Certificate
    • Code 8 driver’s license
    • 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in the agricultural equipment industry
    • Familiarity with agricultural equipment and maintenance processes is a plus

    Extra Heavy Vehicle Driver

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

    • Perform general transportation of commodities as instructed by management.
    • Ensure the load is delivered safely to the correct destination within the agreed-upon timeframe.

    • Read Main Line and Small Line (Woolworths) runs on IFS.

    Intake Clerk - Wellington

    Description

    • Responsible for receiving of samples.
    • Verify that the sample descriptions match the request forms and ensure all required information is accurately completed and signed by the client.
    • Timeous and accurate logging of samples onto the LIMS system.
    • Ensure proper matching of the unique LIMS ID to the correct sample by labelling both the sample and the corresponding request form, including for shelf-life samples and their collection.
    • Responsible for organising and managing documentation related to sample testing and invoicing, including filing, copying, and scanning forms.
