    Senior Solutions Engineer (RAN)

    Reporting to the RAN Solutions Head and based in Johannesburg, South Africa with the primary focus on TEOCO RAN portfolio business development for both in products and services domain.
    The candidate is required to have:

    •       Extensive experience on mobile communications RAN and at least experience on two of three RAN technologies among UMTS/LTE/5G.
    •       Excellent communication and technical skills to carry discussion, perform RAN solutions presentations and demos with customer senior management.
    •       Experience on RAN planning, Configuration, Geo-location/Optimisation tools with the understanding of latest features and road map requirements in industry.
    •       Proactively scope RAN Products/Services technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and TEOCO.
    •       Support sales team support, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the Solutions head.
    •       Secure input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
    •       Coordinate closely with internal sales, sales support, delivery and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
    •       Secure from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close.”
    •       Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported.
    •       Provides coaching and professional development to team member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
    •       Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.
    •       Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.

    Qualifications:

    •       B.Tech / B .E in Electronics /Communication/Computer Engineering
    •       Knowledge of Wireless Telecommunications standards & protocols;
    •       Overall 8+ Year Experience in RAN Planning/Optimisation domain
    •       Minimum five years of sales or sales engineering experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic customer segment; or
    •       A record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable sales role.
