    Purpose of the Position:

    • This role is responsible for the social media content strategy and overseeing of customer operations across the Showmax brand social profiles across Africa. 
    • The ideal candidate will have extensive social media content strategy, content creation and analytical experience to develop and drive hyper-localised strategies, content briefs, production requirements, execution of key campaigns, insights and reporting, and leading a team across Africa.

    Key Performance Objectives

    Tasks

    • Develop and execute social media content and community management strategies across key regions.
    • Day-to-day management of always-on and large-scale, multi-platform marketing campaigns ensuring best practices, accurate brand representation and creative assets are relevant to the local markets.

    • Partner with regional in-country leads in MAH to coordinate various partnership and content campaigns.

    Experience Required

    • 6-8 years of social media management experience developing and executing social media strategy.
    • Experience in managing teams: setting team and individual goals/KPIs, performance management and growth.
    • A creative portfolio of previous campaigns highlighting the role the candidate played to contribute to its success (strategy, ideation, briefing and execution).
    • Highly organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects across multiple regions.
    • Ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate potential issues.

    Senior Engineer: Back End and Cloud

    Purpose of the Position:

    We are building a generalized, cloud-based Recommendation and Personalization platform that serves multiple internal and external clients at Multichoice.

    The Senior Engineer: Backend and Cloud role should appeal to the elite programmer with a passion for Cloud, Serverless Computing, Big Data, Personalization, Search and Recommendations, Scalability as well as a working knowledge of the current technology landscapes in these areas.     Senior Manager: Performance Marketing

    Purpose of the Position

    • To optimise digital marketing effectiveness, in close collaboration with the brand, partnership and CRM functional areas. Ensure effective marketing campaign execution in all digital channels across search, social, display and video advertising.

    Unit Technical Manager

    Purpose of the Position:

    To engage with relevant stakeholders to conduct thorough planning and monitoring of the pre- and post- production activities in line with Production standards operating procedures.

    EPG Specialist: Channel Management

    Purpose of the Position:

    • To manage the standard of formats and EPG metadata supplied by all current (276) and future channels and ensure the consistent supply of this metadata.

    • Manage EPG metadata output: Analyse the relevant reports and action interventions as required.

    • Execute internal audit reviews in line with the audit plan for the Multichoice Group. Carry out internal audit work as assigned in line with the standards and methodologies set by IAS.     Senior Specialist Accounting Hub

    Purpose of the Position:

    • Monitor and ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards, Preparation of Annual Financial Statements, Governance & Compliance and Internal Control

    • Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of system of robust controls, procedures and policies
