    Talent Acquisition Specialist: High Volume

    What will make you successful in this role?

    Develop sourcing strategies in alignment with the business strategic priorities to ensure Santam remains competitive with market best practices

    • Specific and specialized sourcing initiatives, recruiting marketing channel development specific to e-commerce, strategic job board management, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning, talent mapping, etc.
    • Remain abreast of and analyse industry trends on information technology talent attraction strategies and advise business regarding the impact on the organization’s ability to attract talent in this field
    • Consult on the design and delivery of employer branding initiatives to create awareness on opportunities in the business and position Santam as an employer of choice
    • Consult on the development and implementation of digital social media sourcing campaigns
    • Contribute to the definition and design of innovative sourcing strategies that will enable the establishment of a diverse pool of talent to meet the evolving needs to the business workforce plan
    • On a regular basis, proactively explore all channels and processes to build diverse pools of talent
    • Implement creative direct to market talent capturing solutions for the business; i.e. create and maintain a ‘potential candidate’ database, advertising on web-based job search sites
    • Conducting research on competitors, building industry networks, attending industry specific events, job fairs, partnering with labour agencies and tapping into global networks
    • Provide support to the Head of Talent Acquisition and Talent Lead in the sourcing and acquisition of scarce and critical skills at manager and above levels.
    • Draft direct to market advertisements taking into consideration the recruitment criteria and the current business needs with regards to talent
    • Control and manage candidates’ responses received from the direct to market campaigns by creating a centralised database of applicants and tracking progress within the recruitment process

    Agency And Third-Party Management

    • Act as liaison and manage all communications between Santam and the applicable recruitment agencies and other third parties such as direct to market publications
    • Send out communication or requests to recruitment agencies in accordance with current resourcing needs and brief agencies regarding business and vacancy requirements
    • Liaise with recruitment agencies regarding candidate engagement with the organisation throughout the recruitment process

    Manage and drive Talent Acquisition Pipelines for High Volume Roles

    • Engage with Business, HRBP’s and Leads to understand critical, scarce and future hiring needs
    • Develop sourcing campaigns to attract talent for critical and scarce skills e.g. Print, Job Portals, LinkedIn, Social Media, Seminars, Networking, etc.
    • Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization
    • Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; develop talent pool, pipeline or social engagements. (Recruitment in advance of need)

    Qualification And Experience

    • B-Degree in HR or related field of study or an equivalent NQF level 7 qualification
    • Experience in direct sourcing for roles in a large corporate, combined with previous agency experience
    • Understanding of pipelining and implementation of talent mapping for the volume business in insurance or financial services

    Performance Enhancement Coach

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Track, monitor and report Sales and CE Quality Assurance findings for new policies sold and/or servicing and retaining existing business.
    • Review and report on the Quality of Advice provided to the clients during all client-facing interactions in the business (the traditional “QA function”).
    • Achieve and maintain the required targets on QA samples to be audited (these also include outsource business validations i.e. Homegrown).
    • Review, analyse, report and take appropriate actions / corrections on all client feedback, including QA findings, Complaints received, (the traditional “Complaints function”), Voice of the customer (VOC) dissatisfaction actions to the Performance Enhancement Coach FLM.
    • Provide individual training and coaching to client-facing staff based on specific findings, record and document discussion points for improvement monitoring.
    • Act on all errors incurred during client-facing interactions through a corrective interaction with the client (the traditional “Corrections function”) with the sales / CE Consultant.
    • Be Co-accountable to define the required client experience in collaboration with the client-facing functions and corrections.
    • Accountable to escalate non-compliance findings to the Performance Enhancement Coach FLM, Compliance Officer and/or Head of Santam Direct.
    • Propose further interventions, including coaching, training, to address non-adherence by referring to the relevant line managers for disciplinary action/s to be considered, and monitor that non-adherence interventions are acted on where necessary.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Completed Grade 12
    • Completed RE 5 qualification
    • NQF Level 4 (Short-Term Insurance Qualification)
    • Preferably have quality and/or compliance experience in the financial services sector
    • Minimum 3-5 years’ short -term insurance experience and exposure to short-term insurance Personal products

    • Process orientated (reports and mini audits)
