    Employee Benefits Administrator

    SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

    Supports the HR function by contributing to projects or areas of specialisation by planning and executing assigned tasks and areas of responsibility. May offer advice to employees on matters related to Human Resources. Contribute to assigned projects or specialist area(s), focusing on maintenance, adoption and documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage, coordinate and administer employee benefits, pension fund, disability and /or death claims, retirement and related processes, UIF and Injury on Duty (IOD’s)
    • Perform the full payroll function and be responsible for accruate and timeous processing, adminstration of 3rd party submissions and reporting of monthly payroll on SAGE ESS.
    • Coordinate applications and queries related to Company Credit Cards, mobile phones, Stannic Fuel Cards and Chrome River and ensure all policies related to employee benefits are updated and communicated to the organisation.
    • Update and maintain all the HR records on inhouse systems (Workday, SAGE, Metrofile) employee files, leave transactions, travel and training while confidentially attending to staff queries and general requests.
    • Coordinate various HR processes related to travel  (visa applications, hotel reservations, flights etc for guests) and assist in arranging of various events, gifts and employee awards.
    • Perform various administrative duties in conjunction with finance and liase with external stakeholders with regards to HR related tasks.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

    What we looking for:

    • Grade 12
    • 4-6 years of relevant experience in similar position
    • Certification on SAGE Payroll solutions and experience using Workday essential.
    • Advanced PC Literacy skills
    • Ability to communicate on all levels
    • Good command of verbal and written English, afrikaans and an additiona offical african language essential

    Receptionist

    SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

    Support all functions of the company as first point of contact for visitors and incoming inquiries to the company.

    Responsibilities:

    • As a key point of entry to the organisation, acts with tact, discretion, and courtesy at all times and maintain the reception area in a clean and tidy condition.
    • Professionally receives, welcomes, books, and refers visitors to the relevant individual or department.
    • Respond to inquiries via phone, email and route calls to the appropriate employee, taking and passing on messages timeously and determining when an issue is urgent and expedite a response.
    • Assist in scheduleing  appointments and  arrangements for meetings, training, conferences, and travel.
    • Support work space efficiency and effectiveness by reporting maintenance / repairs and arranging  facilities for parking, taxi arrangements and security badges for visitors.
    • Maintain office supplies, canteen, stationary or other material and perform administrative tasks as assigned and may perform basic clerical tasks and adhoc duties.

    What we looking for:
