    People Partner I (Gauteng)

    As a People Partner, you will be responsible for: 

    Capacity Planning and Employment 

    • Review Recruitment Procedures and provide feedback for improvement  
    • Analyse and determine Capacity requirements  
    • Facilitate recruitment of all positions at Head Office according to Central HR Policy and standards 
    • Monitor placement times  
    • Monitor quality of recruits 

    Leadership 

    • Monitor performance and take appropriate action  
    • Motivate, mentor and coach 
    • Set objective and time frames and agree on delivery

    Management of Employee Relations

    Self-Management 

    • Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained

    • Plan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands 

    REQUIREMENTS

    What are we looking for? 

    To qualify for this role, you should  

    • Have 5-6 years' Human Resources experience in retail/FMCG 
    • Hold an HR degree/diploma at NQF level 7 
    • Have knowledge of BCEA & LRA 
    • Have outstanding organizational and time-management skills 
    • Possess good leadership skills 
    • Have computer literacy - MS office suite 
    • Have reporting and analysis skills Have a strong IR background including CCMA experience

    People Lead I (Cape Town)

    As a People Partner, you will be responsible for:

    Attraction, Selection and Recruitment of People

    Attraction & Selection:

    • Ensure forecasted staffing requirements are documented and action accordingly (including seasonal demand planning)
    • Ensure job profiles are up to date and accurate

    Retention:

    • Support and guideline in how to motivate and lead people

    Climate:

    • Facilitate implementation and management of organisational climate surveys
    • Ensure action plans are driven within business to address identified development areas

    Performance management:

    • Ensure the Values Survey is effectively implemented throughout the business in line with annual

    Training and Development:

    • Conduct needs/skills analysis and ensure that mandatory training is conducted
    • Monitor implementation of training needs as per development action plans
    • Provide support to line management in terms of auctioning PDPs

    • Update ICR annually and link to Succession Plan
    • Assist business to identify and manage talent

    • Facilitation of Diversity, Change and Transformation Processes

    Transformation and diversity management:

    • Ensure EE plans are in place and targets are met
    • Ensure EE committee and Constitution is in place and adhered to

    Change Management:

    • Ensure CM is applied to new projects and key environmental changes
    • Identify, plan, manage and implement ad hoc projects (largely based on client initiatives)

    Leadership and Team Management

    • Through effective inspirational leadership, facilitate the creation of accountable, full-service teams who understand and strive to meet the needs of all clients.
    • Take full responsibility for performance of all direct reports, motivating and managing them in relation to quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives, focusing on all aspects of sound people management.

    REQUIREMENTS

    What are we looking for?

    To qualify for this role, you should have

    • Diploma or Degree/NQF level 7
    • 6-7 years’ experience in a generalist role preferably in a service related or FMCG environment with 1-2 years in a management/leadership position.
