    Shift Electrician/Millwright (Randfontein)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • N3 Technical Qualification
    • Qualified Artisan with red Seal in Electrical/Millwright/Instrument Mech
    • 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Sector and 3 years’ experience in Packing
    • Have own vehicle and driver’s license
    • Have own tools
    • Prepared to work shifts
    • Very hands on person
    • Ability to Troubleshooting on instrumentation, electrical Systems
    • Understand basics of mechanical fitter

    Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Do shifts where required and understand dynamics of running 24/7 plant
    • Conduct Corrective and Planned Maintenance activities
    • Understand basics of safety and good in safe work practices

    Laboratory Tester (Randfontein)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • Matric (Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent will be an advantage)
    • At least 1 year experience in related position in a manufacturing plant
    • Knowledge of Health and Safety laws, including Hazardous Chemicals
    • Computer Literacy
    • Have own vehicle and driver’s license
    • Prepared to work shifts

    Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Ensure that sufficient stock of Chemicals is available at all times
    • Planning Daily tasks in a manner to minimize backlogs
    • Ensures that sample labels are correct and that the samples are correctly
    • Speed of analyses, accuracy and on-time results reporting
    • In-process cement and Raw Material sampling
    • In-process cement, in-process raw materials, bulk cement analysis
    • Logging in of Mill control, In-process raw material, and bulk material Data
    • Analyze and validate all incoming raw materials including gypsum purity and water content
    • Ensuring that all the relevant test equipment remains within applicable accuracy
    • Maintain overall Laboratory performance, by monitoring and assisting work performed and by measuring all results reported in the correct format
    • Monitor analytical accuracy on shifts by performing verification testing on split samples
    • Exercises control over the use of crucibles, chemicals and apparatus by the correct use and good stock control
    • Prepares and standardizes Laboratory reagents and standards according to work instructions
    • Ensuring adequate availability of chemicals and other consumables in shift by controlling and ordering of stores items as and when necessary
    • Maintaining good housekeeping and compliance with safety codes of practice and adherence to laboratory procedures
    • Performs any other reasonable tasks when requested by the Production Supervisor

    Diesel Mechanic / Millwright/ Diesel Fitter (Nkomati)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • Grade 12 certificate (preferably Technical)
    • Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic / Millwright / Diesel Fitter
    • 10+ years of experience on surface mining
    • Proven Drill rig experience will be an advantage
    • Knowledge of tools and lubrication processes
    • Read and interpret and action feedback on oil analysis report
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Perform Oil sampling
    • Knowledge of CAT engine systems
    • Ability to troubleshoot engine, transmission, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical issues
    • Analytical thinker with auto-electrical and mechanical aptitude
    • Skill in repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and diesel engines

    Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Pro-Actively maintain equipment required for the safe execution of operational activities
    • Perform first line maintenance tasks on mobile crushers and screens, drill rigs, loaders, dumpers, excavators etc
    • Diagnosis, troubleshooting, fault finding and repair as expected from senior experienced artisan, and participation in HIRA
    • Need to have min 3 years proven experience. Maintaining and troubleshooting the entire system. This includes engine, electrical, hydraulic, air systems and GET handling functions
    • Develop learners in the trade
    • Remove and install sub-assemblies damaged or replace due excessive to wear, repair
    • Attend to breakdowns and complete job / timecards
    • Maintain company tools and equipment ensuring all is in good and safe working order
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager
    • Travel to various sites and work overtime as required
    • Work remotely for extended periods of time
    • Be a positive team player

    ADT Operators (Worcester)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

    • Grade 12 certificate
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Valid ADT operator’s license
    • Be literate and functionally numerate
    • 3-5 years experience as an ADT Operator
    • General mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the mining environment
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets

    Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Safely Operate an ADT machine to Load / move materials as instructed
    • Perform required inspection and basic maintenance of ADT to ensure safe operating condition of the ADT
    • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
    • Maintain accurate records of ADT activities and report any safety concerns or equipment issues
    • Prepare accesses, work areas and surfaces
    • Remain vigilant to avoid potential safety hazards when operating the machine
    • Keep the machine clean and fill up with fuel and grease as required
    • General work on site when required (none operating)
