    Admin Clerk - GRA

    Key Relationships

    • Consistently achieve established key performance indicators for productivity, accuracy and housekeeping.
    • Controlling of bookings by recording delivery requirements from Principals on a daily receiving control sheet.
    • Ensures accurate / correct checks with the blind tally sheets and the delivery documentation.
    • Ensures all discrepancies arising from receipts are communicated to the respective sending depots, either by telephone or email.
    • Generate labels and summary labels, and the issuing of the labels.
    • Attaches the summary labels to the delivery documentation.
    • Signs off transporters documentation accepting receipt of loads.
    • Signs off the pallet documentation and endorses the number of pallets received.
    • Reports all issues and problems to the respective Supervisors and Controllers.
    • Summarize all daily vehicles received and despatched onto the Vehicle Register.
    • Reconcile consignment stock quantities to checkers blind tally and carry out recounts for all discrepancies.
    • Sign all relevant documentation with regard to consignments i.e. delivery notes, Chep document, security seal document etc.
    • Ensure that the correct pallet license labels are applied to correct pallets of stock received.
    • Ensure all stock discrepancies are investigated and counter signed by the driver.
    • Appropriately investigate and correct all receiving discrepancies and exception reports.
    • Update KPI's.
    • Ensuring of zero damages to incoming loads.
    • Active participation in stock take planning, preparation and physical count.
    • Adhere to the units SHE rules and best practice.
    • Ensure the product safety, quality and integrity is not compromised.
    • Report any persons behaviour that may impact on the safety, quality or integrity of the stored product

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 / Matric – Essential
    • 1 -2 years’ experience
    • Tertiary qualification (Logistics / business) – Desirable

    Forklift Driver - Boksburg

    General Accountabilities

    • Honesty - pride in his job and an eye for detail             
    • Loading and offloading of vehicles and containers
    • Clear understanding of the clients requirements
    • Ensure pallets are according to stacking standards
    • To ensure that damages are kept to a minimum
    • Housekeeping of the highest standard
    • Daily checks of operational machine and completion of daily checklist - check daily controls - brakes hydraulic oil - tyres        
    • Ensure correct use of MHE and other company equipment and to timeously report any defects
    • To report and record any non-conformity with regards to customer merchandise
    • Maintain high level of hygiene of MHE

    SHE and BCM Specialist - Boksburg

    General Accountabilities

    • Implement/monitor location safety standards and policies in line with region/country standards, DSC and the DPDHL Safety First Framework
    • Collate details of location/country safety incidents and reports them using the approved platform (LOGICS) or via the local LOGICS user within 48hrs.
    • Assist country safety function in the preparation for and the completion of safety related inspections and audits (internal/external).
    • Ensure that the 12 Global safety First Rules and the 5 Driving Safely Rules are embedded into the workplace
    • Provide general safety information and awareness training to location workforce.
    • Liaise with Site Management and the workforce to ensure that 2 way communications is maintained on safety related issues
    • Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents at the site and drafts reports for the Site and Country management where needed.
    • Uses Behaviour Based Safety techniques to engage with the workforce when appropriate
    • Assist the workforce in the drafting, approval and review of Risk Assessments, SSoW and Work Instructions
    • Act as the validator for Hazard and Near Miss Incidents input into Logics
    • Be responsible for the implementation of the Group Business Continuity Management Strategy at site level.
    • Provide direction and support to the Site Management on the locations BCM Plan held within Logics.
    • Ensure BCM compliance to DPDHL and DSC operational standards.
    • Manage the Site Plan and ensure that it is amended and updated as required to maintain its accuracy.
    • Manage a suitable and sufficient review procedure for the plan at intervals not exceeding 6 months.
    • Prepare the plan for periodic audit when needed and assist in its conduct.
    • Assist in investigations into Business Continuity Incidents where appropriate.
    • Ensure that all BCM events are input into the Logics database within 48 hours of the incident occuring.
    • Manage a suitable and sufficient test procedure for the higher risk plans at intervals not exceeding 6 months.
    • Control all works related technical plant installation and maintenance in cooperation with Facility Mgr
    • Support Facility Mgr during site inspections
    • Manage the supplier during the surveys/interventions (request permission, deliver work area, control at the end of the works)
    • To be User of Maintenance Tool
    • Deliver effective training and knowledge transfer to Site Facility Coordinators on how manage suppliers during the maintenance surveys.
    • Attendance of Maintenance Tool training
    • Responsible in analysing and controlling maintenance costs (Facility Mgr support)
    • Archive management for the supplier worksheets
    • Ensure that Safety Gemba's and other safety related inspections are conducted periodically 

    Qualifications

    • SAMTRAC/NEBOSH/IOSH Managing Safely course or equivalent
