Java Developer/Senior Java Developer

Job description

Our client, a multinational software vendor is seeking a number of Java Developers to join their team in Cape Town on a permanent basis. We are open to applicants with anything from 2 to 10 years’ experience.

These roles sit within our clients R&D department. The successful applicants will be part of a continual process to build, evolve, maintain and support a suite of cutting edge products.

Required Experience
- At least 2 years’ software development experience
- Excellent core Java programming skills.
- Exposure to Spring & REST ful Web Services
- Exposure to Oracle and PL/SQL within a relational database environment
- Exposure to Unix (HP-UX, Solaris and/or AIX) and Linux
- Professional experience of integration technologies & frameworks.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A Degree in Computer Science or similar.
These roles are open to South African nationals and permanent residents of South Africa only.
