    Remuneration and Benefits Manager (Benefits / Remuneration / Payroll / Tax Submissions / Wages / Salaries / Legislation / SAP /

    Job Description:

    Manage the remuneration and benefits team and ensure that employees and relevant third parties are accurately and timeously paid according to a contractual agreement and specified procedures and legislation. It is a Group role to be in charge of the Africa Division of the Company. They will head the payroll team and report directly into the Group HR Director.
     
    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the remuneration of all employees and limited duration contractors.
    • Ensure accurate and timely salary/wages payments
    • Budgeting for the different Business Units ito Salaries
    • Ensure compliance on policies and applicable laws
    • Stay abreast and implement changes in legislation
    • Manage effective completion bi-annual and annual tax submissions for Group
    • Critically review and analyse current remuneration, benefits and tax procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations
    • Enhancements and improvements - Ensure proper maintenance of system and data integrity
    • Interpreting Bargaining Council Main Agreements
    • Lead and ensure development of the HR Remuneration team
    • Perform remuneration and benefits market surveys and recommend EVP for the Group
    • Review and coordinate Patterson salary ranges in line with market surveys

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • Minimum of 5 years in a remuneration and benefits role with at least 3 years in payroll supervision
    • HR and Finance qualification
    • Advanced knowledge of risk management and tax and legislative environment.
    • Good understanding of how finance and benefits integrate
    • SAP Payroll Operation or Management experience essential
