Maintain changes to service and delivery of products
Attend to guest requests or complaints promptly and in an appropriate manner
Maintain all equipment and vehicles used by his/ her department.
Strictly adhere to all regulations stipulated in the Comprehensive Field Guides’ Manual.
Ensure daily weather reports are done
Ensure game reports are done and faxed on a daily basis
Keep abreast of current conservation issues
Ensure that all guests are taken on walks and that regular specials are organised
Ensure that all safety precautions are taken with regard to guests on game drives
Maintain regular communication and good relations with the Lodge Manager, Camp Manager and other relevant heads of department, informing of any changes regarding guest activities
Report any issues or discrepancies to Management immediately
Attend and participate in meetings
Stay current regarding guiding issues within andBeyond and conservation issues of interest generally
Health and Safety Responsibilities
Work safely at all times, complying with health and safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines
Check and identify any potential hazards in the workplace and take appropriate action to minimize the risk from them
Report any hazards identified and any actions you have taken
Perform any other reasonable task as requested
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 2 years previous guiding with andBeyond essential.
