This role requires you to generate and grow sales, build strong agent relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will create world-class itineraries to exceed agent and guest expectations, ensuring an efficient and accurate sales process. You'll collaborate with agents, providing inspiring luxury travel experiences, managing bookings, and staying updated on company policies and procedures. Additionally, you will reduce operational inefficiencies, stay on top of system updates, and work with the Reservations Manager to strengthen agent relationships and maximize sales opportunities.
Core Criteria:
Matric certificate with mathematics
Tertiary qualification in Travel & Tourism/Hospitality.
4-5 years at a senior level with extensive product knowledge of Southern & East Africa (including Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya).
Proven experience in customer relationship management and developing inbound travel products.
Personal or educational travel experience is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and internet.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Foreign European language skills are a plus.
A passion for wildlife and a strong commitment to sustainability and conservation.
