    Business Dev Manager (Organic Growth)

     

    What will you do?
    An exciting opportunity is available for a self-motivated, driven individual with B2B sales management experience, managing and overseeing the roles and responsibilities of the national team of Area Managers and Business Development Executives creating brand awareness, building and maintaining relationships with commercial dealerships, referral partners and affiliates across the country. Attaining new business referral partners to obtain financial growth through the generation of an influx of quality commercial leads. Coordinating with internal stakeholders to drive growth, improve processes, reviewing current market trends and indicators to explore driving down the cost of sales. Identifying and pursuing opportunities in the market for financial growth and maintaining the relationships.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4
    • Full FAIS Qualification and FAIS Compliant
    • RE 5 
    • Tertiary Business Qualification (Beneficial) 
    • Minimum of 5 years relevant sales management experience 
    • Minimum of 5 years commercial insurance experience 
    • Strong motor-related commercial insurance experience 
    • Experience in managing and growing a national sales team
    • Thorough business acumen required 
    • Deliverables include, but will not be limited to
    • Attain partnerships and affiliates that will provide an influx of new business leads into the Business Insurance call centre 
    • Ability to achieve all sales related targets
    • Drive product specific lead campaigns 
    • Analysing current market trends to identify opportunities 
    • Build and maintain relationships with external partners 
    • Liaise with internal departments such as claims, underwriting, marketing, development and actuarial 
    • Business Process Optimisation 
    • Formulate Business Cases
    • Continuously focus on improving and contributing to a simplistic client experience 
    • Formulate proposals to potential business partners / affiliates
    • Present proposals to potential business partners / affiliates
