JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing data, identifying trends and providing of insights to support strategic decision-making within the business. This role involves close collaboration with multiple departments to optimize processes, improve productivity, and drive growth.
Data analysis: Collecting, analyzing and interpreting data related to various aspects of the business, including production, sales, inventory and financial performance of various entities.
Performance metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve efficiency and measuring effectiveness of different operations.
Forecasting: Use historical data and market insights to create accurate forecasts and aid in resource allocation and inventory management.
Process improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements, cost-saving initiatives and automation opportunities.
Budget and Financial Analysis: Assists in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial modelling ensuring that financial goals are achieved.
Reporting: Prepares regular reports and dashboards to management and provides insights and actionable recommendations.
Risk Assessment: Identifies and evaluates potential risks and opportunities and provides strategies to mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
New Business Analysis: Analysis of financial information of new Business propositions and investments. Including the cash flow needs, profitability and risk exposure. (Part of Investment Committee).
