Housekeeping Supervisor – Coral & Canopy/Umhlanga Cabanas at Beekman Group

• We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Resorts team. The successful candidate will supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, maintain high housekeeping standards, allocate and monitor daily duties, and oversee stock control and stocktakes. The role will also provide support to Reception with cash handling, receipts and general administration, as well as staff appraisals and employee matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safekeeping of company assets and ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with company standards and management instructions.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• 3–5 years’ experience in Housekeeping, preferably within a hotel, resort or hospitality environment.
• Previous experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor or senior housekeeping role will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Experience supervising and managing a housekeeping team.
• Experience with stock control, stocktaking and inventory management.
• Good understanding of housekeeping standards and quality control.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Basic financial and cash-handling skills will be an advantage.
• Computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to assist with Reception duties when required.
