HRD Trainer Mechanised - TMM at Anglo American

Job Description:

As an HRD Trainer Mechanised you will be responsible for executing practical mining skills training and assessment for surface and underground mining skills programmes and execute competencies and operational specific training and assessment in an unconstrained and constrained areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Executing and delivering the training as per the training needs analysis
• Conducting training and assessment as per the approved methodology and learning material
• Adhering to competence modelling and competency assessment
• Arranging training logistics and administration
• Coaching and mentoring of employees on continuous evaluation
• Ensuring that training plans and schedules are adhered to

This role is in the Human Resource Development Department at a C3 Level reporting to the HRD Officer

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate of competence in 2 Mechanised Mining Operation Occupations
• Certified competent as a TMM Operator certification
• Assessor certificate

Advantageous Qualification

• MQA Level 2 Mechanised Mining competency skills programme
• NQF 4 OD ETDP Certificate
• Blasting or Rock Breaking Certificate

To be successful, you will have the following experience:

• At least 3 years Mining experience / 2 years as a HRD Facilitator
• Experience within the Narrow Reef and Low Profile (LP) TMM underground environment

Knowledge/ Skills

• Basic Computer Literacy
• Driver’s license code 08
• If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test
