Grade 12. National Diploma or relevant equivalent NQF6 qualification in Information Technology. Computer Literate (proficiency in MS Office Suite).
Knowledge of networking concepts. Valid driver’s license. Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft 365 Administration.
Experience of Server and system/application administration. Advanced IT troubleshooting, configuration and repair skills Advanced knowledge of Manage Engine Service Desk.
Ability to multitask, maintain focus under pressure, and always ensure accuracy and attention to detail. Good communication skills and report writing.
Knowledge of switches and routers 3 to 5 years relevant experience within an IT environment.
DUTIES
Provide technical, IT related, services to endusers, including technical support, software and hardware installation, and assisting with troubleshooting queries. Attend to all calls logged on IT Helpdesk. provide technical support related to application software systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Provide facilitation: Facilitate meetings with customers and interpret, assess, and evaluate customer business requirements to establish project scope and design criteria for systems.
Documentation Management: maintain an application documentation library to ensure all systems and processes are well documented. Responsible to perform the daily System and Server Checklist.
Ensure that all endpoint devices, servers, backups, and services are functioning optimally. Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as requested or instructed by supervisor (management) from time to time.
