Appropriate university degree and professional qualification
Teaching experience at senior high school level In Life Science and Life Orientation;
Current Registration with SACE
Computer literacy and ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching/learning, however, special interest and further experience in this area will be advantageous.
A dynamic, creative personality with strong interpersonal skills
A commitment to full participation in the extra-mural activities of the school
Teaching experience within the IEB system would be advantageous;.
Experience in the demands of the GET and FET curricula;
Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of the school
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare for, teach and assess beyond the requirements of the CAP’s Document and Requirements;
Create a classroom atmosphere conducive to healthy, connective and where possible cutting-edge teaching and learning;
Set, mark and evaluate class work, homework, assessments, examinations and provide regular and meaningful feedback to students/staff/parents;
Moderate formal assessments and research projects
Monitor, encourage pastoral care;
Engage and participate in the reflection and staff development process of the School
