    Management Trainee Commercial

    Job Description    
    Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has exciting opportunities in our Commercial department. We are looking for two talented individuals with relevant skills and experience as a Management Trainee Commercial. The successful candidate will report directly to the District Manager.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    The successful candidate will: undergo a 12 months formal training programme to gain knowledge and experience in management and sales in order to prepare for a management position within CCBSA. To implement a market driven differentiated service that builds sustainable competitiveness within clearly identified channels and delivers sustainable growth in brand equity, sales volume, market share, competitive advantage and corporate reputation.

    Key focus outputs will be to optimize plant and process performance through:

    • Achieve pre-determined sales/brands and market share targets
    • Influence retail pricing within segments
    • Maintain stock levels within segments
    • Develop self towards management opportunity
    • Develop sound business relationships
    • Conduct regular account reviews
    • Handle Customer and Consumer queries
    • Manage product quality in relation to quality standards
    • Determine functional planning objectives
    • Develop sound customer relationships
    • Rotate across Channel Marketing, Category Management and Sales Activation units

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications / Experience

    • Minimum relevant 3 year tertiary qualification in Marketing or Sales
    • At least 3-5 years relevant working experience
    • Advanced MS Suite skills
    • Valid driver’s licence
    • Own vehicle Key Attributes And Competencies
    • Persuasiveness and well developed selling ability 
    • Excellent verbal ability and communication skills
    • Sound interpersonal and networking skills
    • Ability to manage self and territory
