Manager Human Resources Management at AbaQulusi Municipality

Minimum requirements:

• A Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) A Degree, B.Tech (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources Management or relevant equivalent qualification Computer literacy
•  A valid driver's license 4 to 5 years' relevant experience.

Key performance areas:

• Communicate with the immediate superior on specific Key Performance Areas (Human Resources Administration, Employee Relations, Employment Equity) with a view to aligning functions and objectives.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes and researching systems and processes with a view to formulating recommendations on the review or introduction of policies and procedures to address the provision in statutory acts and agreements
• Define/adjust the role boundaries, wordflow process and job design against laid down service delivery requirements and statutory regulations Determine staffing levels and prepare motivations for the filing of vacancies to compliment functional objectives and requirements
• Participate in the recruitment and selection process, approve minimum design and specifications for inclusion into job advertisement and evaluate applicants suitability through analysis of selected short-listed curriculum vitas and interviews Conduct appraisal to measure performance against agreed objectives, counsel and consult with personnel on development goals, career paths and short-term targets and standards.
• Establish the organizational and communication requirements in respect of conciliation, arbitration and appeals have been attended to, guide understanding in respect of specific provisions of the matter and address/report to the immediate superior non-conformance from an organizational perspective Participate in Trad Unions, and Local Labour Forums, Committees, etc. with a view to interact and lead discussions on the requirements of legislations and agreements.
