Job Summary Statement

• The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring movements of mining and support equipment to ensure each mining activity is sufficiently resourced to fully utilize the potentials of the mining fleet as a whole and ensure production is maximised in a cost-effective manner.

Minimum Requirements    
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Post matric computer certificate is recommended.
• Thorough knowledge of mining operation, must also be aware of equipment needs and capabilities.
• Must be assertive as well as able to cope with pressure.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Advanced and proven Microsoft Excel skills
• At least two years’ administrative experience, in a similar position or role.
• No criminal record
• +3 years Operational experience in mining production environment
• Fitness to work as per mine and Health Standards
• Control room experience will be advantageous.
• Open Pit Mine experience will be advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Capturing the daily production volumes and drilling meters of all equipment, as well as, all other production related information from the Pit onto Microsoft Excel and submitting all information.
• Verify and record the plant related data i.e. break down, services, works orders, etc.
• Follow up to ensure data is submitted
• Check that the data submitted is correct.
• Ensures correct reasons are entered against appropriate status.
• Liaise closely with Plant Operation in order that equipment is quicky repaired and then returned to work as soon as possible.
